- A relaxing ASMR close up sound hair brushing session using natural oils, head massage and hair play.
This is my Cousin Nicole who kindly allowed me to get my hands on her amazing head of hair for this video. This is just some of the footage I managed to film whilst in the North West UK visiting family. A couple more videos on the way over the coming weeks! It was a really fun time with lots of sightseeing and even a visit to the Lake District which is one amazing place especially in the Summer. There are a lot of pictures to get through. I will make sure to add some of them to a video for you to see!
You may notice a few more edits here than usual due to a few rumbly tummy sounds ;-D hehe

It is so amazing how many people (myself included) lack the comforts of this kind of basic human contact. Where we just do things to comfort one another, help each other relax. Reading the comments is always so telling of how lacking we are as a society in this area.
I am immensely thankful to have discovered ASMR and Emma, you are the Queen of it in my mind. I know it covers a wide spectrum of sight, sound, touch, role play, etc. but I think the nurturing you demonstrate is unmistakable and something people truly long for. It makes so many other ASMRtist lacking because they just don't seem to get "it".
I think there is a real talent and skill to create the environment and session that really does something for people on a deeper level and you seem to have found a certain magic in your formula. Anyone can produce videos with sounds and whispers, but you create an experience, from beginning to end for your "model" and for yourself...and that shines through.
Very much appreciate the effort you put into your videos. You have played a major role in bringing a whole new sense of peace that was lacking to my life and I am most grateful!

About 50 years ago in hospitals orphaned or babies given up for adoption were dying in abnormal numbers, even though they got good nutrition and care. Somebody worked out that they needed to be held and cuddled, not just fed, changed and bathed. So they got kindly volunteers in to rock the babies, and hold them, sing to them and talk to them. They needed that human touch and nurturing as their mothers would have given them. It made a huge difference to the survival rates. Now we have elderly people, dying people, who need the same kind of comfort and nurturing.

I actually love it when people touch my hair, but I hate to admit it. When someone touches my hair, I just stay dead still because I don't want them to stop. When I move or something, they happen to stop and I silently curse because I didn't want it to end.

Whenever my mother brushed my hair when I was a little girl, I loved it and always asked her to play with my hair. When she did it was the only times I experienced ASMR as a child. This video brought back the best memories and brought the strongesr tingles. Thank you Emma!

Thank you for this. It is the ONE thing that seems to comfort me now. Lupus raging, pain all over 24/7, stuck in bed...and my dog is not well at all. When you are bedridden, you get quite attached to your animals. They entertain you, comfort you, console you. Thank you for taking the time to do this for all of us, even though you were on vacation.

Ashleigh Banks Hi Ashleigh! This is an ASMR video and made just for relaxation. ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's a relaxing tingly feeling that usually begins in the crown of the head when you hear certain sounds, voices etc.. Not everyone experiences it but many do. Do you get the feeling? If not then theses videos can be just relaxing anyway. Lots of people who don't experience the feeling use the videos anyway to relax and fall asleep to. Due to the closeness of the mic, soft voice and hypnotic sounds they are calming to people with or without ASMR. I'm so glad it worked for you, thank you for asking the question! X

you, i'd let someone do it just to get my hair brushed for like 40 minutes. No bullshit, getting my hair brushed is the most relaxing shit ever, it practically puts me in a coma/trance state thing. So if someone asked me to do this, i'd say yes just for the sake of getting my hair brushed

ASMR Therapist I did the same thing, turned it on to check it out and I'm all good until she started stroking the hair with her hand, and then it's like I'm hypnotized. My face and everything behind it felt like it was rotating slowly through space. Such an incredible sensation. But I need to get some work done, argh!

When my daughters were very young I would run my fingers through their hair very gently when they were sick or fussy and it would relax them so much they would fall asleep. Its very soothing.

I love this video. As a misophonia sufferer pretty much all the other ASMR videos i have stumbled across are a complete no no for me as many of the noises that trigger good feelings in other people trigger extreme physical pain, distress and/or rage in me, particularly whispering which I simply cannot listen to without being in genuine agony. What small amount of almost whispering you did was over quick enough and was of a particular pitch not to be too big a problem and the only section I actually had to mute was the tapping (I tried it without muting and ended up in floods of tears punching the sofa). I find hair brushing in particular so very relaxing and a great way of de-stressing that its such a shame it only ever seems to be done with triggers that tend to cause problems for misophonia suffers. So for this one video that has allowed me to relax I truly thank you
