Geert, you are obviously a talented musician to have made this amount of progress in so short a time. Your intuitive understanding is mind boggling. I've been at it for 2 years now, and I am really impressed with your abilities already!

Joel Dubiner thanks Joel, my initial progress is indeed encouraging to me also. A lot is attributed to my existing muscle memory though from other instruments. I'm now focusing on learning more of the proper Stick technique and that feels like it's going to take quite a while!

Hola Geert, ¿how hard is it to put enough pressure to have it make a sound? Is it as harsh on the fingers as an electric guitar? I'm a keyboard player and I'm also interested in the Rail board!

Gustavo Alberto Elizondo not hard at all, it's actually easy to put too much pressure on it. The Stick has to be played lightly to sound best and much of the effort I'm going through is trying not to press too hard.

If you loop your cable over your belt hook, that should keep the cable from coming out should you step on it.

You might be able to insert a switch that would shut off the line when the voltage passes a given value. It seems logical to be able to do it. I am not an expert on that stuff but I am sure the guys who make the instrument or any electrical smart person could easily build one. I can't imagine that it woukd be an expensive thing.
