  • Fish Farming and fingerling production business demands huge sum of money to start especially if it meant for commercial purposes.
The Ghanaian Farmer team caught up with a young graduate who together with his partners, owns one of the biggest fish farming seated on 13 acres land while making a minimum of 7,000 cedis sales weekly.
Godfred told us they invested an estimated amount of 1 million cedis into the business.

I'm In big Support for everything agriculture in ghana; however, I don't Support the rampant fish farming directly in our water bodies. Ghana we lack regulation, and such fish farming in our water bodies is very bad for the environment. @9:00 the food he's talking about that changes the sex of the fish....studies have shown that chemical causes major health issues in humans. As the fish consumes the feed, the fish waste still carries that chemical back into the water system.
