j pulizzano Hi Joe - Thanks for watching and subbing to the channel - good to have you along! I think you'll find the Multistrada an awesome bike to ride, enjoy the demo.....all the best - TMF
Just found your review on the Multi Strada... as I, a long time Harley FLTCH rider, just went into a Ducati dealership here in Milwaukee wisconsin. I have been thinking about something different. Riding season here is quite short... maybe 9 months at best so really want to enjoy what season we have. Will be taking taking the Strada out for a demo next week...oh I hope the Harley dosent hear about it. Anyway, really like your channel and I am glad you enjoy the beemer!!! Cheers!! Joe
Epic, I often do that exact route, I love that road at the end that takes you back to Thame. Will be spending most of my summer on it infact! I have very similar leathers & helmet and a black CB600 haha. Brilliant, subbed!
My local dealer. I do love riding up the A41 and do it often just for the sake of it. I also bought my first ever bike from On Yer Bike, A Kawasaki KMX125 in 1989 when they were in Aylesbury.
Good video and commentary as always. Will you do a Kawasaki review at some point in the future, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts. It is good to see that your camera is attached to your throttle, it does a great job of picsulating your dash ha ha.
TheMissendenFlyer I was thinking maybe the Z series either 800 or 1000. It's nice to see you are picsulating your speed, many on here don't which the police must love. Cheers HP
Glad you got glitch sorted, thanks for that. You'll catch that Blade when you get your Panigale! I reckon they should paint the 899 yellow like they did with the 748.
TheMissendenFlyer Know what you mean, and applaud your diplomacy! I'm looking forward to your 899 test review. Might you try a 2014 Daytona to compare? The chassis, engine management and exhaust changes might make it different enough to your Street. Have to admit, I don't find those naked Yammies very appealing at all.
Stephen Binns Hi Stephen - I have to say I far prefer the Street Triple to the new Yam's, but there's no arguing about their value (price) and certainly a step up for Yamaha, in this sector at least. Would love to try a Daytona but I'm a bit Triumphed out and like the idea of Ducati ownership - ideal world I'll keep the Street Triple and get an 899 as a (mainly) track bike......but that's going to take some work with the Mrs ;0)
Hope you get the Ducati Diavel, that's my type of bike and be nice to hear your long term review of it, prob a long way off yet like you say, the triple is still the one for you for now. I agree with the colour, has to be red.
I'll definitely give a Diavel a test ride - all the reviews I've read are positive and it's a mean looking beast (at least from behind)....but those Paingale's are gorgeous....choices choices!!!
Yes I love the look of the 899, beautiful looking bike, I cant ride those bikes though, hurts my wrists too much, at 6ft 3 those bikes aren't build for me, shame, will have to stick to cruising. Keep up the good work with the vid's. Cheers.
Paul Osler I know what you mean about the riding position, that might not work out for me either - there's no doubt the Diavel is the winner as far as comfort is concerned and that may swing it in the end.....I'm not in a hurry though so plenty of time to think about it....
Hi Nigel - Mine are Spidi "H2Out" gloves, and I have to say they are one of the best pieces of biking kit I've ever bought - I have 4 pairs of gloves and these are always the ones I come back to.....highly recommended!
went today for the open day, busy, some lovely ducatis (at a price) including customers bikes, I find the clothing outlet pricey but some nice clothing, need to by a panigale and put it in the lounge to look at.
Mine is a 2012 STR so I've just stuck with the stock mirrors which work well - they changed them for the 2013 model (for the worse in terms of usability alas)...though the newer mirrors look cool.....I'm with you on bar end mirrors....
Just caught this video as I seem to finding a new one from you every day. I have exhausted the R1200GS ones and still can't decide between the RT and the GS, I used to be indecisive but now I not sure, as they say. What happened to the video looking at you towards the end. It seemed to be in reverse, i.e. the GoPro was on the left of your helmet and Shoei was spelt backwards, or was that just me? Great video as always.
Whats the deal with test rides .. should you only really be having one if youre serious about buying from that particular dealer ? or are they generally cool about people going for a spin?
Well in my case they know that I'm making You Tube videos and (obviously) the dealers I work with are more than happy to supply bikes on that basis....not all are however, hence, for example, why it has taken me a while to get hold of Kawasaki's and Ducati's - a problem that I'm glad to say is now solved thanks to Blade at Abingdon and Ducati UK :0)
yes weather permitting, on the Sunday, (working on saturday). " drool over those ducatis again" my choice would be a multistrada pikes peak, maybe one day!
There is indeed - cheers Len for the guidance ;0) ...and yes, the Triumph dealer ("On Yer Triumph") was a sister outfit in Aston Clinton down the road - used to be really handy...gutted when it closed....

Cheers Mrbikertomtom - I'll keep an eye out for you and give you a nod!
Good to see you enjoying the roads on my doorstep, all be it nearly 4 yrs ago since this vid was posted.
Cheers Rob - good to see the old back catalogue getting an airing....
Bought an 848Evo from there years ago now... nice dealer. The 848... lasted a year and was my least ridden bike. Pity as it looked the business.
My local dealer. I do love riding up the A41 and do it often just for the sake of it. I also bought my first ever bike from On Yer Bike, A Kawasaki KMX125 in 1989 when they were in Aylesbury.
Yes it's a top spot just for a mooch around, and there is some great riding to be had in the environs....ride safe! TMF
Nice Vids, I recognise some of your routes, I'm from the same region. Subbed
Thanks for the kind words Raptorman - good to have you aboard!
Enjoyed that!
Thanks - glad you approve! - TMF

Hi Harry, would love to do a Kwaka review - do you have one I can try? ;0) And yes, those vibes really do make the picture go fuzzy sometimes.....

harry palmer Nice looking bikes those and the reviews seem largely favourable from what I've seen......

Not sure I would want to try and catch the 'Blade - clearly he was a skilful rider but those sorts of speeds on country lanes?? ....not for me....

I'm sure that Diavel will be fast enough too. Have a great bank hol weekend. Safe riding.
Thinking of getting some new gloves, like the look of yours !!
What make are they !!

+Peter Gunton Good idea! ...I nearly went up there myself but alas the lawn needed cutting :0(
What mirrors u got, i have new str in progress so suppose will have to change mirrors, don't like bar end ones. Cheers

TheMissendenFlyer cheers, how u getting on with alpine leathers then?

Probably got flipped for some reason - well spotted!

+Peter Gunton Yeah I do,like the looks of those too I must admit......
They used to be a Triumph dealer dealer, too, until a couple of years ago, I think.
Hello, is there an echo in here? 😙
There is indeed - cheers Len for the guidance ;0) ...and yes, the Triumph dealer ("On Yer Triumph") was a sister outfit in Aston Clinton down the road - used to be really handy...gutted when it closed....
TH-cam is throwing up some of your older videos in my suggestions list. Funny to hear you comment on having 500 subscribers - the number is 46000 now!
Wow - great stuff, I must go back and watch this one....
I might shoot down there when I get my Tracer to see if they can fit me a decent top box.
