Returning players often don't perform as well as before they left in my experience, plus he's getting old. So I'm not expecting him to be the player he was in his treble season. BUT, he's cheap, liked in the dressing room, a model professional who knows the system, & provides cover for Bobb while injured, plus the loss of Alvarez. So yes, very good signing, strengthens the squad immediately in several ways.
