    The cost of investment should also have been noted in the video, specifically for small investors or new investors that are just trying to put in some money every week without feeling discouraged. That $300 per share difference is a huge deterrent for new investors or uneducated investors. Cool video.

      Thanks for the feedback ChrisOfNYC. Trying to remember to mention the price going forward...but sometimes I forget.

    Significant share price difference. On it's face I would be inclined to buy into SCHX vs VOO.

    As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?.

      Well as you know bigger risk, bigger results, but such impeccable high-value trades are often carried out by pros.

      People dismiss the importance of advisors until they are burned by their own emotions. I remember a couple of summers ago, following my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to assist my business stay alive, so I looked for qualified consultants and came across someone with the highest qualifications. She has helped me raise my reserve from $275k to $850k, despite inflation.

      My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further.

    SCHX is good, but in a large cap battle VOO/IVV are better in a rolling 10 year performance via DCA. 22 basis point lead usually. Example: SCHX 11% vs VOO 11.22%.
    The big advantage of SCHX is low cost per share. Thus making it easier to buy if your platform doesn't offer fractional shares for ETFs. Platforms like Schwab, TD Ameritrade, Ally, or Merrill Edge.
    VOO is $374 as of February 17,2023
    IVV is $409 as of February 17,2023.
    SCHX is $48 as of February 17,2023.

      In 30 year or so, you think that voo and schx will have similar results? Because schx is too cheap, don't know if it will affect the future performance

    • @akin242002
      @akin242002 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rolandofrancis5254 Only a slight difference. Think of $400k vs $410k in 20 years, assuming you invest $500 per month.

    I’m new to ETFs, so I’ve been doing some research and decided my portfolio to be SCHB, SCHG, VGT, IWF and SCHA what do you think about it? Also when people say percentage like 60-40 allocations it’s based on the amount of shares you own or the percentage of the amount of money?

    • @clifford629
      @clifford629 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      percentage of the amount of money.

    • @clifford629
      @clifford629 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      60-40 refers to 60% stocks, 40% bonds. The relative allocation for someone near/in retirement. All those growth ETFs are good for someone that is young and has time to watch those stocks grow over 30+ years.

    • @RobbieMoney
      @RobbieMoney  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jetser! For the allocations its the percentage of the portfolio. And the first number is always stocks/equities. The second is bonds. So 60/40 is 60% stocks and 40% bonds. 10/90 is 10% stocks 90% bonds etc.

    The reason there is 506 stock is because certain securities have multiple classes of shares (eg BRK/A and BRK/B), alphabet shares, etc.

    Neither of them are even competitive with SCHG and that fund is almost a mirror image of IWF so right now I am trying to decide where to put my rollover money from my hospital 403B to my Fidelity IRA between those two funds because everything I’ve looked at those are the two best large cap fandout there

    • @michaelviglianco6121
      @michaelviglianco6121 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They aren't competitors. These are blends. Schg is growth specific

    Where’s your account at? If I am at Vanguard, I’m not opening another account at Schwab just to get SCHX and vise versa for VOO….Appreciate the vid, I just moved to Schwab and was researching the VOO “equivalent” available there.

    I live on a fixed income so SCHX is my choice because of cost and partial to CS products. Also holding, DRIP, and buying as able SCHG, and SCHD. Unrelated to this video, I like the SCHD vs DGRO comparison you did with the mystery ETF, CDC. I've lost a lot of principal in QYLD but wanting to get out of it assuming I can get back to break even. That said, I'm interested in CDC. Thanks for the work you put into your channel!
