Kid had friends and a nice childhood. That means he wasn’t one of the criminals that were recruited and unlike them he’s a true Night Lord.
The first Terran Night Lords were the sons of the prisoners in a continent wide underground sewer-prison complex where people threw the most inhumane of the already awful Age Of Conflicts Terra (well. The most inhumane who weren't powerful enough to avoid the punishment) . They did not have a nice childhood

Unless Emperor psychically brought back, purified and guides Conrad, Sevatar and other Night Lords' souls into full fledged reborns or even as powerful Imperial Daemons to guard the darker sectors of Imperium Nihilus, they won't get redeemed easily

All Space Marines are sociopathic and it doesn’t stop marines like Argel Tal and Sevatar having friendships. I mean just because you’re a bad guy doesn’t mean you’re a bad guy if you know what I mean.

I would love if there was this one-off story about a 30k Pre-Heresy Emperor's Children Marine, or any other Traitor Legion, getting blipped into 40k seeing their current day counterparts, and suddenly understanding why Big E wanted to contain knowledge about Chaos.
I just love the idea of Magnus, immediately after projecting into the Palace, seeing Post-Heresy Imperium through some fucky Warp bullshit, and becoming as depressed as Angron before Khorne took over completely.
Nah, I want a story in which The Conqueror is cleansed of chaos corruption by The Emperor and becomes the battleship equivalent of the Legion of the Damned, appearing in the nick of time to kick arse and save imperials in void battles, piloted by Lotara Sarrin turned into a Saint.

Traitor Astartes can be eccentric and a lot of them have very different personality’s so it’s possible for one to have human friends which is funny to imagine

Bit I think they are the ones who most deserved redemption. Because their fall was the fault of their Primarch, and they ended up being dragged alongside. They did not fall because of an innate flaw or misconception they had

I remember a part in the nightlords trilogy where Octavia asks Talos about his childhood dream of what he wanted to be when he grew up. I remember Talos replying with I wanted to be a hero, look at how that turned out .
i mean technically, yeah he had a rough start but his actions DID save a couple important astartes and his own gene seed that was passed to Decimus to actually push the legion back in the right direction

always figured night lords actually have a smaller civilian kill count compared to most CSM since they just scare the day lights out of most with their skin covered armor. Kinda like you only have do something horrific a handful of times before people are like "oh yea those are the skinning pit guys fuck this im just gonna take my chances as a slave"

Так, предлагаю, для начала, ему улыбнуться. Потом, показать на себя пальцем (гдавное, не делать резких движений), и сказать, как зовут. Потом (плавно!) показать пальцем на него, и сказать: "Астартес, Ностромо/Нострамо" (я хз как правильно, не читала английский орегинал). Потом, (плавно) взять в лапки чайник, сказать: "Рекаф, буль-буль", и пододвинуть тарелку с печеньками.
Как бы, Найты - очень разные, там - хз на какого нарвешься; но по большому счету, ребята они адекватные, и оказавшись в 1 морду хз где, скорее всего, попытаются запрячь местных в комуникацию, что бы банально разобраться в том: " А где мы с вами? ". Тут можно охотно совать ему под нос энциклопедии по астрономии и кодекс про Повелителей Ночи. Читать оно - не грамотное (они же только свои готики знают), но, тем не менее, по картинкам - явно сорентируются, что попали на Древнюю Землю, и про их легион и примарха тут знают. И уважают, видимо, тк угощают вкусненьким. 😊

И что это мы придумали его мир - именно таким, это мы убили его примарха, и решили: "Ой, как же будет клево, если он взорвет свою плагету! Это будет так драматично! Супер! Так и запишем: взорвет.". Что это мы решили сделать так, что бы он не мог снять в нормальном обществе шлема, потому, что его глаза не выдерживают нормальный, солнечный свет...
