Amazing video. I think the most visually appealing album covers imo are ones that are so simple, but genuinely thought out. Some of my favorite covers are The Forever Story, Doris and Flower Boy. Like what you said, just by looking at them, you can kinda assume what the album will be like. I'll make sure to check out the merch too, much love ❤

Music aside, what’s ur favorite album cover/theme of all time? personally my favorite is Jeffery by Young Thug. The blend of white and light purples really makes it come together with the dress becoming a focus point in the composition. Bro literally looked like the female version of Raiden from Mortal Kombat and it’s so hard.

I really love Death Grips album covers, especially The Money Store's cover. They're so simple looking but effective at delivering what the album feels like. The weird imagery on the covers convey they're not a normal sounding albums too. The Money Store being a black and white drawing of a couple in BDSM gear is an example of that, the album having a weird, abrasive, and gritty feel to it.

I feel like Luv is Rage 2's album cover also fits the theme as you discussed with Trilogy by TheWeeknd. The gray representing the acceptance of Uzi's break up with Brittany Byrd along with of course the tape across the cover showing how he is healing from the experience. Just my quick thoughts on it. I think one of the best album covers is dangerous by micheal jackson which gives us a magnum opus into mjs weird mind, like how in a song from the bad album, called leave me alone, in the music video mj shows us his weird mine. Just watch it. In dangerous album cover it has weird beatiful images with a sense of rich yellow with mjs faces over it like hes looking at his mind. And with remember the time it gives a rich flattering love story. Its beautiful

Album covers are important. I wanna see a nice colorful creative cover art when an album is dropping. Like lil uzi covers from 2015-2017 and not just a face on a black background.
yes bro that was actual like an era in music for awhile. if you look up 2015 album covers they were much darker, but then 2016 came around with a lot of vibrant covers.
My absolute favorite cover of all time is GKMC Deluxe. It’s so iconic and looks beautiful

i think album covers need to be unique, they also need to be distinguishable when they’re small cus for example in a playlist on ur phone a lot of the time it’ll be small. If i’m looking through my playlist for a song instead of searching for it i want the cover to be unique so i can just look out for the one colour or something, like how drakes last album it’s easy to tell what it is cus nothing looks like that dog lol

@@JivoDraws "Best" is a strong objective word, but its 100% my favorite, its my favorite album of all time, idk how yo explain it but i am emotionally attached to that album in a way that i dont see it like other music forms or other albums. It dropped in such a crucial time in my life that i will doubt it'll ever stop being my favorite album of all time. Best Cudi's work? Doubt it, Motm2 or ppds are peak music. Hot take or whatever but Drakes modern album covers are not bad at all. especially the cover for her loss is extremely uncomfortable, modern, different and interesting in a very positive way. A picture of 21 & Drake or something would be way less cool. Also CLB is a modern time stamp and so is the cover. I appreciate the minimalistic art style of CLB's and FATD's covers for leaving room for the music having influence on the listener. CLB has a similar cover to aspects of 808's or channel orange which are great covers.
I do think they are created to get a reaction. Like the CLB cover I feel is becoming iconic for how dumb and absurd it is.
