      @XdarkxmonkX 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@yodude9624 There is no easy solution to this. If someone wants to steal a package, they're gonna steal it. You can't always be home when ordering a package to receive it, so what can they do? Work around your schedule? Sadly that's difficult for delivery businesses like Amazon and Fed Ex. Some people live alone, and can only afford to have security to watch out while they're away. In that case, the solution is asking for it to be delivered to the back, and to have a box set up for them to put it in. But like in the video, people will scout you out and mark it, then watch you deliver and go and take it. If someone wants to take, they will take.

The driver is doing his job to abide by that policy because he is on a time limit to deliver OTHER PEOPLE'S packages right? Not just yours you entitled prick. If drivers did that for every package, they would constantly be late, which risks termination, and the company would ask them, "What is taking you so long?" If they say "I try to ring the door bell and hand it to the customer." The company would tell them to stop doing that, drop the package, and GO. Stop blaming others for your laziness if you cant be bothered to pick it up from a hub, or actually going to the store to buy your garbage, or putting in the minimal effort to get it certified with a signature requirement. I was home all day so I know they didn't ring the bell, and I don't even expect them to at this point because as I mentioned, it's been so rare that they do 🤷‍♀️
      I just assume they don't do it because they don't want to disrupt the homeowners (who may be getting numerous packages delivered per day, from different carriers); and with technology, customers usually get a email or text notification as soon as a package is delivered.

      @@Cruise_227The FedEx driver is not “careless” as you say. His job was to deliver the package and he did! He is not required to knock. It’s not his job to play security and to risk his life for a package that’s not even his. The thieves could have been armed or even teamed together to attack him. Notice how you care more about the safety of a package than the safety of the worker…

    In Germany, a package with valuable contents must be handed over directly to the recipient. Also with signature and code number. If you are not at home, it will be dropped off at a nearby post office where it can be picked up later.
    Then there will be no dispute between the porch pirates of the Caribbean... 👍🏻🇩🇪

They know it's garbage, but greed is a hard habit to break.
