Just beautiful! I love to use a watercolour pencil to sketch my shapes sometimes - that way it becomes incorporated in the final painting. I stick to similar colours as my finished painting.
I really enjoy your paint patterns. And I’m always surprised how complicated they look at first, but by breaking them down they feel approachable, even to a novice like myself. I’m curious to know how long this painting takes you when not filming the process? Thank you for sharing and teaching!
Thanks, that's what I love about patterns, the repetition of simple elements building up to something complex. This one took me around 90 minutes, but I don't time them when I'm not filming, probably a bit quicker as I'm not thinking about how to explain the process, but not much!
