I was wondering when you or Pixel Dan would review this as its been out in the UK since Dec 2023 now, so glad to see now reviewed. Did you notice the bandolier was fitted backwards from factory (on all figs), also a lot of people have remarked on the bandolier not fitting the grenades and Blobie well (Fitment too tight compared to vintage original). The bandolier is also supposed to pop apart via the pin but doesnt, so quite a few QA issues.
@@SecretOfMonkeyIsland784 I never had the original. I don't see how the bandolier is backwards. The Bandolier does fit the grenades but it's a jumble. Blobbie fits perfectly. The Bandolier does come apart. I dont see any QA issues as this figure resembles all of the companies promo images.
@@ToyShiz If thats the case then they have finally fixed the QA issues or you go the only fig without a issue. Pretty much every review since Dec 2023 mentions the issues i raised above. I am also basing the above issues on the 2x in hand figures i personally own.
This is pretty cool for all the Toxic Crusaders fans out there and if I may offer a suggestion while they're making these, how about a glow-in-the-dark variant Toxie figure. Also, I have been trying to come up with an idea for how to make a home made canister of glow-in-the-dark TMNT mutagen ooze and getting a whole bunch of these Toxie figures for the glowing slime could actually solve the problem of the glowing ooze itself. Now if I could just find some things to make the canister out of...
As long as each released figure sells, then yes! The plan is to not just re-do all of the old figures, but also do figures that never made it into the original line, like Yvonne and the mayor. 😀
They are doing Toxie and Dr. Killemoff first, and if those sell well enough they will make more. They showed prototypes of Yvonne and Mayor Grody, who were both supposed to be in the cancelled wave 2 of the vintage line.
It wasn't supposed to be on the figure, Playmates Toy added that at the last minute. His mop doesn't have that in the cartoon anyway, and he can hold it better without the flag sticker getting in the way. Plus, the slime action feature always stained the vintage figures flag.

I bought my TOXIE at BBTS. Still in the package, but I love the figure already. I will open it very soon. I will probaply not open the slime. 😂
