please dont do that! Just replace de filter! Some air filters are single use only - if it gets too dirty you can only replace them - and cannot be washed because it damages the filter fabric.
I'm pretty sure the instructions on the box say do not clean do not get wet now if you really can't afford a new air filter I could see someone doing this
Far out too long process , quicker if you buy a proper washable filter in the first place as you spray cleaner, wait 15min, wash out, then air dry and done (a lot of washable filters don't need oiling anymore) 👍
All good but not sure about using bleach as hazardous to health but good idea I've just got some antique machine. And needed to sort out so helped me out👍
I just rotate two knf filters, time to switch? I’ll clean the old one and leave to dry in garage pop in the previously cleaned one. By the time I have to swap it for the clean one it’s already been dried and oiled up.
Typically they recommend you don’t do this, just because there’s finer dirt and obstructions in the air filter that will prevent the car from sucking as best it can.

Costs you more to oprerate the 'Gas' oven to dry it in comparison to a new filter. Not to mention the damage. 😂
the filter costs $10 hardly, you put in the effort and risked the life and health of ur engine while using items that add up more to the cost 🤷♂️
"And this is to go even further beyond-"
Amazon had already delivered the new one by the time you are done with this lol

It's good to clean but instead we can try the new sometimes 😂
Waste of money

You wasted electricity, water, dishwasher, bleach tablets, time for a $18 value at Advance Auto

i bet now filters particles enter engine combustion system becouse it touched water
You can buy 20 filters with the time and energy you put into cleaning that filter.
Just blow it out with an air nozzle every oil change and tire rotation. Works great!

Thanks for the video MR Krabs
😂 lighten up guys! He clearly states that it is an experiment. We all didn’t just coincidentally end up here 😅
I bet your wife was furious when she saw that in the dish washer😮
