Yeah, sadly i don't know a solution for this one yet. It seems like all this could be the subs from what i tried with Mihoyo CS. Hopefully it will also help if more people report it
Yeah, I've been having the same problem with the Shattered Samsara fight scene, where it always freezes. I've tried re-installing the video assets but the problem won't go away. I contacted Mihoyo CS in the end and I'm waiting for a reply..
I think the story CG freezes because when downloading the assets, the internet connection is unstable and thus make some of the video files corrupted (unfinished). I have tried to use mobile data to download the newest update, and the last cutscene freeze. However, when I delete the video assets on the folder and re-download it using Wi-Fi, it is fixed. I am on PC STEAM client if anybody wondering.
probably because most people who played the game already past that point years ago when they played it on mobile… that’s why no one seem to bother discussing it on forum… I already posted this problem on reddit and only got like 1 upvote and 0 comments…
You're probably right, I think the best bet is what AliceParasol did and contact support. I tried the 1st method they mentioned which managed to fix it for me, so if you haven't already, I would try it out.
@@7WhiteSword I didn't contact them but based on what AliceParasol said on your comment, I deleted the video folder and it automatically re installed after opening the game. Go to C:\Program Files\Honkai Impact 3rd glb\Games\BH3_Data\StreamingAssets and delete the entire video folder (While honkai is closed) then open honkai and it should re install the videos.
@@casualquasar2224 ah, okay got it… So I just finished redownloading the video just now, and the story cg is fixed!!!😁 although the sakura samsara cutscene is still freezing…. still, its better than nothing and its good the customer support actually responded
Besides those two, do other future chapters suffer the same bug? I just started playing and I have the same problem. Specifically the ones you just showed in this video. Whithout spoiling, can you tell me which chapters have these buggy cutscenes?

I say contact Support via the Ai-chan phone. It will help if more people report about it! Though i can't say it will work for everyone, the best thing we found for early game chapters so far (before chapter 22, and not Sakura Chronicles yet) has been to do *both* of these: About this issue, you may try to delete the whole video folder. (Go to the following folder: \Honkai Impact 3rd\Games\BH3_Data\StreamingAssets\Video) After reloading the game if the same issue still persist, see the solution ; Right-click on "Video" folder > Click on Properties > Uncheck the Read-Only checkbox > Click on OK and rerun the game .
@@AliceParasol still not working for me ... i unchecked the read-only checkbox ... though i didn't delete the video folder .. will i have to reinstall the game if i delete the video folder ?
chapter 22-7 last cut scene we,re kiana fully uses her void powers with the help of fu hua frezzes still

@@watashipsycho8084 no, it should download the videos automatically when loading the game. But I still get problems on some others anyway
