Your an artist. Those seams looked great. Never knew about using the blade on the other side of the top cutter. I'm going to have to try that

I am looking for a carpet for a small room:
    1) 7ft 1in x 10ft.7 in
It seem online they do come in size like that
    2) It will be for a computer room with laptop and printer and computer repair station so I need one with litter static as possible
What carpet type would be good?

Can you elaborate a little more on what the seamer down does? I’m assuming it cools the seam faster. Does it also weight down the seam? Here in FL we put weight on our seams to prevent peaking.

Blake Yes weights the same down by sucking up like a vacuum, it also pulls the glue tightly into the backing of the carpet causing it to be a tight flat seam

In the last 40 years that style of carpet has been very popular and millions of feet of it has been seamed with great success in the seams appearance and lasting time, an that machine wasn't used!!! That causes me to question greatly the (true) benefit of its use!!?? An it's Cost, in a market that is not wanting to give any raises per yd and is trying to get subs to stop charging extra for things like, take ups, stairways, metal strips, trip charges ect?? Yet materials continue to go up, tools go up, new tools like the tool in question are added to the (must have)tools!!i had a toolbox tray with a piece of Luan spot glued to the bottom of it to pull the moisture from the seam yet provided uniform weight to the seam!!! I've heard so many things about seams over the years it's not funny!!! Who is right?? For me it's always about RESULTS AND TIME!!! There's been Mill reps tell me "never tractor your seams" another say" it's just fine"!?? One say" don't put weight on seams" another say" a weight is a must"??! I use my intellect( what little I got) and common sense which I got plenty!!! Then it's well thought out, trial an error!!! I've made screw up, some were duzzies, some not so bad but all in all I've done real good and in Indianapolis and it's Southside I was well known an well respected for a long time, as was My Dad!!! Hate it when I babble on!!!
