We had to have a mound septic system back on one of our WI homes. Yep, way more expensive!!

Joe in Wisconsin land is measured by rods so I am not sure about more acres on rolling land?
I can only speak to TN and a surveyor will go by pins or landmarks no matter what the terrain is doing. WI could be different. Would be interesting to know!
