- So Widow armor set bonus went from useless to literally god mode!
The set bonus used to be a short speed boost upon kill, but now instead you get a solid melee speed boost along an INSANE regen buff that renders you basically unkillable, at least if you have max milk molars like I do here.
This was done on 1.3.0.4331 PTS, expect this to be patched extremely soon so enjoy the crazy science farm while you can!
PS: The raid is repeatable if you use widow fangs instead of venom, should yield a bit less science but an easy farm regardless. Also this was done on Normal mode, but you can totally pull it off in Whoa if you actually parry or just use a bulky widow set with a defense buff. - เกม

Do note that this is the public test, so it will most definitely get patched before the full release.
Also, on this update the Black Widow was changed to be weak to Sour, and only resist all the other elements (Spicy, Fresh, Salty). She no longer resists weapon types like Chopping, Slashing, etc.
The Sour Battle Axe got an amazing buff with each 3rd hit giving you an attack speed buff, which pairs really well with the Chopper mutation giving instant stamina regen (which is also mad broken if you ask me). So this setup essentially gives you infinite HP and infinite stamina.

it didn't get removed during the patch if your wondering so you can still do it
I wish my waft emitter would work. It only lets me start a raid if I have one item in it, then I need to break and replace it to do another. Such a pain. This video was neat though
Hilarious I did this on Whoa mode but made an adjustment to make things go by swiftly.

Koi Armor with one armor piece set Sleek for small Parry Stun.
This shreds through insanely and done it within just 1 minute. It was like a complete pushover but the timing on parry was difficult.
Nice job! I forgot that I don't need Cardio Fan since Chopper already gives stamina regen, so I wasted a mutation here. The Sour Battle Axe is insane now

Will probably say this at least they did make the Black Widow a wee bit too easy. I mean if you haven’t unlocked the Sour Battleaxe just a Sour Termite Hatchet can do the work or even faster Sour Scythe.
Interesting note to make the Scythe counts as a dagger if you use Assassin. It applies bleed despite it acts as a Hatchet.
Yeah the game feels a LOT easier overall with the combat changes they've made. Hopefully they can strike a good balance cause Normal is extremely easy now, and Whoa isn't that much harder
Please honestly tell me how, when i use this armour, I don't even stand a chance against a max raid, thoughts?
They buffed healing so much that the game is too easy now
Yep, as soon as I saw meals heal like 25% of max health the game felt a little pointless
They buffed everything else too though especially the black widow in the make it and break it update.
guard dog makes damage 50% more so that means yes

It's explained in the description. New Widow armor set bonus is broken currently and gives a massive health regen on each kill, alongside an attack speed buff.

Yes! And she no longer resists weapon types, now she's only resistant to Spicy, Salty and Fresh

No, it hasn't been patched. Sour Battleaxe got a small damage nerf but it still shreds the widows. For farming science it's better to use Widow Fangs as you get those back, plus the raid is less chaotic.

What’s the point on mild difficulty? This is like saying you can jump the Grand Canyon with a spaceship lol..
Um, this is Normal mode though. This new update made the game on every difficulty a LOT easier, especially with endgame gear. You can easily shred this raid on Whoa mode aswell
