I remember when he died. I grieved pretty hard. I heard his songs in 1978 in L.A. He was like no one else out there. He was so emotional when he recorded this one that his voice was broken. Hey Donna...let me encourage you to get back into Keith Green's music. He's still encouraging me through his music to this very day, and he's been gone 42 years. God used him greatly during his time here on earth. He reach many souls for Jesus.
So many of us were strongly influenced by the music and ministry of Keith Green. I was very profoundly affected as a new believer to the point that I went to Bible college and this was one of my favourite all time songs. Catching up with it now has done my spirit good. I so miss Keith Green even after all this time! To all those brothers and sisters affected by Keith's ministry in a similar way, I feel we share an even closer bond in Christ because of this special prophetic ministry of Keith's.

He gave a missions call and I stood up and responded to God's call. I wept for the joy of my Heavenly Father. I have gone on missions trips and saw the spiritually starving. Hungry souls that cried out to God!!! The anointing is still on his and Melody's ministry. I cherish the day at Jesus Christ west coast. First time I've heard Keith Green speaking. One thing immediately striking is that he is very real, believes what he is saying. Doesn't come across as fake or put on. Reminds me of a lot of preachers from the 80s and through till about the mid 90s

There was one moment in my life when I didn't feel Jesus, it was in the early morning hours and I was in my early 20's, I'd tried to explain what I knew about Jesus to a bunch of druggies, they hammered Me spiritually till the morning hours, and then I felt so empty, I was an empty shell of a person. I think Jesus showed Me that time so I'd know why People need to know him, or they're walking around like zombies man!

Can't someone respect someone else without trying to force your religion on them in some manner? So what that an Atheist respects Keith green even thou there are plenty of cases were we can? why would someone hope that you become a Christian or pray to be one just because of that?
Ill make it easy simply prove your God's existence (i mean yours not a) and i will repent and accept Jesus. If you can't or won't and push the idea of me needing faith then i cannot accept Jesus as my criteria for evidence has not been met.
Honestly, Keith was from God-- Jesus' death was more than suffering to cause some to follow. It changed everything- but Keith hit the nail on the head. His death changed everything- death of death in the death of Christ.

What a loss for our generation! I had only been in Christ 2 1/2 years when he passed. His music aren't just songs, they're sermons.
Thee people are at the end of their rope. They need to hear about Jesus more than ever.
I remember when he died. I grieved pretty hard. I heard his songs in 1978 in L.A. He was like no one else out there. He was so emotional when he recorded this one that his voice was broken. Hey Donna...let me encourage you to get back into Keith Green's music. He's still encouraging me through his music to this very day, and he's been gone 42 years. God used him greatly during his time here on earth. He reach many souls for Jesus.

So many of us were strongly influenced by the music and ministry of Keith Green. I was very profoundly affected as a new believer to the point that I went to Bible college and this was one of my favourite all time songs. Catching up with it now has done my spirit good. I so miss Keith Green even after all this time! To all those brothers and sisters affected by Keith's ministry in a similar way, I feel we share an even closer bond in Christ because of this special prophetic ministry of Keith's.

Oh Heavenly Father I thank You for Keith and his precious family. I was a new christian, really new !!! I had two children and divorced. I went to Jesus Christ west Coast in Santa Rosa. He gave a missions call and I stood up and responded to God's call. I wept for the joy of my Heavenly Father. I have gone on missions trips and saw the spiritually starving. Hungry souls that cried out to God!!! The anointing is still on his and Melody's ministry. I cherish the day at Jesus Christ west coast. First time I've heard Keith Green speaking. One thing immediately striking is that he is very real, believes what he is saying. Doesn't come across as fake or put on. Reminds me of a lot of preachers from the 80s and through till about the mid 90s

There was one moment in my life when I didn't feel Jesus, it was in the early morning hours and I was in my early 20's, I'd tried to explain what I knew about Jesus to a bunch of druggies, they hammered Me spiritually till the morning hours, and then I felt so empty, I was an empty shell of a person.
