8:01 He used to be much weaker. Vegeta only recently has gotten stronger because how Saiyans power up after nearly dying. It kinda shows the power difference when one of Frieza’s weaker guys could’ve almost destroyed everyone on Earth.

Yeah, this is the part of the series where Vegeta really starts to grow on you as a character, both in Abridged and the Canon series.
I hope you know, a DBZ fan's heart grows a little everytime a non DBZ fan watched the DBZA.

It's half not even that, originally, they are using their Ki to leave a fake images of themselves kinda like in Naruto with the Substitution Jutsu only without the log.
I still don't understand why people complain about seeing the opening. Either you've seen it and it doesn't matter or you never seen it and you don't understand what you're seeing
Not to mention that abridged series usually only make sense if you know the original. Sure, they're funny even if you don't, but you miss a lot of jokes if you didn't know the original. Hellsing ultimate abridged is the prime example, probably taking the nr 1 spot with the most jokes you just can't get if you didn't see the original, and while not so bad this still applies to dbz abridged
@@philipphoffmann8929even with hellsing, I watched the abridged prior to the original and still understood most of what was happening and I could infer what most of the references to the show were.

Every anime has an opening and no one complained about spoilers back when we grew up and watched it with fresh eyes. People just don't know what they're talking about with this whole spoiler nonsense.
It isn't like it's a comment that describes things that will happen in the future.

Hey, you guys do know that your audio is muted for almost two straight minutes, in the first episode, right? And, I don't mean the opening theme song.
btw: keep in mind every time they use solar flare in this series some funny images show up(might wanna pause on those)
Easier if there is a frame-by-frame during each solar flare
Not sure everybody needs to see the P. Cell/18 image, easter eggs are supposed to be fun to find not pointed out by everyone

with the copyright, a suggestion would be to turn on subtitles. So when there's specific scenes y'all have to mute, we can at least follow along with what they are saying through captions.
Sound cut out at 4:12 and doesn't come back till 5:11, and goes in and out for a bit after. Cuts out again at 18:07 to 19:48.
It's probably an intentional method for preventing copyright strikes? Better like this than taken down, if it is

Vegeta has two states: Vegeta On Top, and Vegeta On Bottom. There is no in-between, and no other states of matter
The Abridged version of Dodoria es weirdly memorable. Because of the iconic "I AM A WOMAN" joke, but also the voice and vdelivery really make her stand out
7:59 Vegeta wasn't part of that "elite team" because he wasn't this strong before now. He explained in the previous episode i think that saiyans get stronger when they recover from a near death experience...he got rekt on Earth so he got a power boost. He was weaker than Dodoria up until recently
Technically we as about equal to Ginyu when transformed

In the Frieza army there are grunts who are lowest they average around 1000-2000 power level. Vegeta was around 18,000 when he was at Earth. Dodoria is around 22,000. So Vegeta was still elite but not the elitest of the elite. Although he was considered one of the powerful dudes, other guys were stronger. That’s why they all ragged on Vegeta until they discover he had a power boost. After nearly dying on Earth his power level rises to around 24,000, well over Dodoria.
How come so much of the Dodoria conversation was cut out?
Ok, fair enough, you can mute the video to avoid copyright strikes. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE TURN ON SUBTITLES; There is nothing more awkward than follow along with an animated comedy series and the watchers don"t have a clue what is being said, only pure silence.
We could say this without yelling. It's not that serious. If it's so important, watch the original.

Just to let you know, Dodoria being a woman is a DBZA exclusive thing.
In season 2 (this one) they stop with dumb jokes and gives much more character development.. and better jokes. Season 3 is when they knock it out of the park but season 2 will always hold a special place to the fans. A lot of goods times are about to happen. : ) So thank you for keeping up with the series.

Fun fact about Martin Billiam (aka LittleKuriboh), the voice of Freeza (as well as the narrator):
He pretty much invented the “abridged” genre with his “Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series” Parody, which is still going to this day.
Like DBZA, it starts off pretty weak just because it’s a product of its time and has sub par production values, but like DBZA it only gets better and better
Not directly saying you should watch it for the channel, but I’ve gotta say it’s fitting that the father of abridging has a lead villain performance that absolutely steals the show right when DBZA starts hitting its stride

I did not realize that it was Linkara, no! I'll be listening for it now though for sure. I didn't watch his stuff with as much regularity as I did Doug, Lindsay or Brad, but I did enjoy the videos I did watch. Thanks for pointing it out!
12:05 it do be kinda inconsistent but it would appear that if your channel gets copyrighted once because of the intro it's just going to get copyrighted by the intro every time so yeah
Vegeta is easily my favorite character in this arc then again he was my favorite in 1st arc too.
Guru, Piccolo, and one I can't mention yet. Gohan was much better in this arc than the 1st one though.
Vegeta isn't part of the elite team for two reasons: 1) He wasn't that strong when he fought Goku on earth, as he said to Cui, he got stronger by almost dying like all Saiyans do. 2) Freeza really don't like Saiyans. But mostly the first one. He was strong, but not Dedoria strong before Earth so he wouldn't be in Freeza's close guard.
6:13 but Dodoria killed like 5 villagers and a child the last episode… how soon we forget.
So:
1) Every Sayan gets stronger after getting beat till near death. Vegeta got stronger after his loss back on Earth.
2) The namekians are actually speaking Kingon, language from Star Treck.
I did not recognize it as Klingon, lol. I know that name, of course, but mostly through osmosis, tbh. I haven't seen much Star Trek. I think only like...four episodes across the OG series and NG, and the fourth movie. Well, and the Chris Pine movies, but that's it.
You should definitely have subtitles on if you're gonna randomly cut audio. Also, why are you randomly cutting audio?
Liking a literal murderer of children (Dudoria) is....strange to me.

I had to mute a few bits in here because there were copyrighted songs that fully blocked the video. I try to avoid that whenever possible.
I would really love if you could increase the rate of the DBZ:A Videos, It's just so fun xD Also the same people made Final Fantasy 7 Abridged, its different (since its a video game) but also really fun and good, and there are not many reactions to this out there.
