Always worth watching when you upload in English. Very valuable. Crazy how the documents found on Mohawk facilitated the Alexandria raids. The Regia Marina fascinates me more than the Kreigsmarine or the IJN.
Yes many if not all of the losses we have had have been due to the fact that we never understand the value of certain technological which we ourselves are creators.
@@antoniomatteocazzella915 yes, in My opinion Germany played a major role by just being a bad allied nation. by 1938 Germany already had "Seetakt radar" since 30's and the improved "dete 1" radar by the time Italy entered the conflict. Radars that despite being somehow problematic could have had a big impact if a reasonable number (i.e. 10 to 15 units) would had been transfered to Regia Marina. Having 1/2 radar on a given battlegroup could bring crucial radar warning in order not to be surprised (like in Tarigo convoy battle) or at least allowing the escape for the majority of the force (like in Matapan)
Wonderful - I love the fact you take the time to do these in English as well as Italian - my Italian is very rudimentary but coming along! Very informative as always.
Giulio. Great presentation. I missed a lot of the recovery of the documents from the Italian version of this presentation. I found this part to be very interesting! All your followers will be looking forward to the next presentation! Regards, Bob.
