Korg modwave mkII | /404/ | Dark Locrian Ambient Session

An unstable sound needed an unstable and dark mode. The modwave does very well with Locrian, and I think I may have found a synthesizer which this odd mode serves well.

I‘m really happy with this patch in particular and I had a lot of fun taking the ring modulation into a bit of a stranger direction with this. Filing it away as a new trick for occasional future use 🙂

I absolutely love it now that I’m tapping in a bit more to its darker, noisier side. I really enjoyed it from the start but I was starting to run out of ideas for it with softening up the wavetables and making them gentler overall, but now I find I’m gravitating back to it again. Thank you very much for stopping by to check out this session 🙂
