  • Greenpeace went to Fonterra’s AGM and Shareholders’ Meeting last week, calling out Fonterra’s reliance on palm kernel.
Palm kernel is an imported feed from Southeast Asia, used to feed dairy cows in the dry summer months. It’s a product of the palm industry, and linked to rainforest destruction and loss of rare wildlife. A high price for cheap cow food.
We’re calling on Fonterra to drop palm kernel from all of its farms across Aotearoa.
