[Tutorial] Wrapped Journal by Teresa Cruz for Graphic 45

“We can never have too many planners or journals because we need them for so many purposes, and it’s a lot of fun to use beautiful planners to inspire you!!
So, this month I made a Wrapped Journal, with one of the new collections that I absolutely love, the Dreamland collection.
These wrapped journals are very very easy to make. For this one, I used and really like the Eileen Hull wrapped journal die (sizzix). You can pick your favorite papers, your Graphic 45 chipboard, and if you have pick a journal die, and you are ready to make your journal cover. Just watch this video to see how to make your own wrapped journal!!
Craft Tip: use your chipboards and stickers to make your paper clips, embellishments and tags on your journal, simple and easy!
I made four notebooks for the inside, some pockets, cards, tabs, stickers, papers clips... it’s super fun to create and embellish with all the products that Graphic 45 have with each collection, just pick your favorite and have fun creating!!
Craft Tip: you can make your own tag with a card and two stickers, or one sticker fold in half.

I’ll soon be making a similar journal out of this stunningly beautiful themed paper series for my dear cousin, she sadly lost her 26 yr old son recently to suicide and she’s truly grieving and heart broken, as we all are. On a different subject, I’m so glad to see I’m not the only one with hands that look like a mechanic’s after stamping/creating cards and albums! lol 😉 ❤️

What weight chipboard is Teresa using? A friend offered to cut out the die for me but says it's not working with her chipboard. She's an experienced maker, so maybe she's using a different weight. Thanks...
Thanks for watching, our Kraft chipboard is a 32 point medium weight, and our Black is 30 point medium weight. Happy Paper Crafting!
Love this. You've worked out some problems with this die for me. When you put two chipboard layers together and run it though the big shot...dor you run it through only once? Did you use the crease pad?
Teresa, glued 2 pieces of chipboard together and then ran it through the Big Shot one time. When you adhere your chipboard pieces together, be sure to run it through the Big Shot before the adhesive has completely dried so the die cut piece will be flexible to score. Happy Paper Crafting!
Very nice journal with lovely details. May I ask, did you stick two sheets of chipboard together for the cover, or was it kraft paper for the inside?

Where do you buy the elastic i have a hard time finding it
Also if i buy that die, is there access to measurements for the booklet covers and pages?
@@kellykagoshima6963 , the Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal die cut piece is 13 in. x 5 1/4 in. Once you have die cut your chipboard journal you will have a base to figure out cuts for album cover and pages. Happy Paper Crafting.
Hello Kelly, if you can't find the elastic at your local Fabric or Craft shop, we found Mandala Crafts that has this elastic cording. Happy Paper Crafting!

I do not understand whata the hurry. If people are going to the the journal they have to so it in real time!
Hello Sarah, thank you for your feedback! We understand how a fast forward video can affect vertigo. In this case Teresa was able to share many steps of this Dreamland wrap journal by fast forwarding through the basic album creation of inking and adhering the background papers.
