I really enjoyed seeing this video, seeing Mississauga from 1989 made me have flashbacks because I grew up in Port Credit, it's so amazing how it's changed since then. I remember when that McDonald's used to be there my Mom used to take me there all the time on the way to the babysitters, When I went with my Mom one day to go there the McDonald's was torn and it was so disappointing. Why did it get taken out? Seeing how Mississauga looked in 1989 brought back so many childhood memories like where the gas station was where Cousin's food is my Mom used to get gas there all the time in the 80's. I like the new Mississauga but at the same time miss the old one too.

I remember the McDonald's closed around 99 or 2000 because I went there just before it closed and I remember there was a sign saying it was closing or moving. It was just left as am empty lot for years and I'm not sure if they still did anything with it. I haven't been to Port Credit in awhile. The McDonald's eventually came to the plaza at Hurontario and King Street as a McDonald's Express.

There is hardly any change after Hurontario and Fairview all through Dundas because that is one area they have just left the same since maybe the 60's. It seriously needs to be cleaned up. It's the slums of Mississauga. So many drug dealers, addicts, pimps, and homeless people in general etc.

So I was wondering what year it was finished.Yeah it wasn't a KFC. I thought I saw a sign for it but it wasn't. I remember Lastracco's Pizzeria used to be in the plaza with the Fabric Land though which was really good.
