Lizzie provides a detailed walk through of our new calibration app - available with the latest SmartBench Update (V.4.0).
Calibrating your SmartBench is a critical factor in maintaining cutting accuracy and performance. All SmartBenches leave the factory already calibrated, however factors such as significant changes in temperature, the fitting of warranty replacements, or excessive vibrations in transit will make calibrating necessary. Our Calibration Wizard will make calibrating easy!

I wish I had the space for this machine!
Any future plans to make a smaller version?
Hi there,
We've certainly considered offering a smaller version of SmartBench, but we don't have any immediate plans. May I ask what sort of size you would be thinking of?
@@YetiToolLtd In the amateur/semi-pro woodworking community in Europe there are a lot of people like me who only have a single car garage converted to a shop (already full of benches, shelves and tools). Due to space constraints we usually can't process full size sheets and have to make due with half length or half width sheets instead. I must admit I have been contemplating moving to a house with a double garage for this reason alone, and perhaps that's just what I'll have to do. 😁 I think a modular design with an xbeam half the width of the current one and a table comprised of detachable segments would be ideal. I think the current price point is well within most budgets which is also what makes your solution so compelling, along with the form factor and the software. There seems to be a gap in the market between the small cheapo Chinese cnc routers and this one that I hope you can fill. The Yeti is definitely on my wishlist.
@@mururoa7024 That's as good a reason to move as any! :D You make very good points, and as our aim is to make CNC available to as many people as possible, this will naturally be something we will look into after some further development.
what height of wood can it take?
SmartBench can accept a material thickness of up to 150mm (6inch)
