- A sequel to my previous video on delineating drainage basins. This one goes a step further to pick out a specific watershed. Here is the link to the Esri tutorial: support.esri.com/en/technical...

Thank you Phillip, you provided us with a clear and simple way to complete this task
So helpful! Great to see some good ArcGIS Pro guides.
Thank you so much!! Been trying for 2 weeks!!! Finally this video worked!!! Thanks
Well done video. Exactly what I needed!
Great video! exactly to the point, perfectly explained. Thank you
So many Thanks for this, it helped us alot !!
Thank you for your guides. Can I ask how to delineate multiple subbasins by using arcGIS pro? I cannot find the tool extracting stream lines and juntions from flow accumulation raster data which makes 'making lots of watersheds at once' difficult.
thank you very much!!
1. Could I edit the DAs delineated from ArC Hydro tools to represent drainage direction change? For example, changing the drainage ID numbers in drainage lines and catchment layers.
2. Is there a way to change the drainage area shape parallel to the drainage lines (not by giving an outfall point along the drainage line - this cut the DA across)?
Hi, I am trying to represent an urban drainage area. I have some areas draining in the reverse to the natural slope due to sewer modifications. I tried manually editing the drainage layers generated from ArcHydro tools and then tried to extract it through HEC-GeoHMS. Though everything is merged it is not picked up by HEC-GeoHMS. Any literature or procedure that has done this would be appreciated greatly.

Hi Phil...I watched your video on creating a watershed using a DEM. I have a 2ft elevation contour feature class already created from a DEM, and want to use it as the basis for creating a watershed for a local pond here on LI. Can I do that? Do you have a video for that process?
Hi Bob, no I don't have a video quite like that, but if you have the DEM then you should be able to use that to delineate the watershed. good luck!
Didn't work :(. The watershed layer isn't visible.
Why doesn't ESRI just make a tool that does all this with one tool? Oh, right.. they could not care less!
