Interesting. So the seat bounce is kind of a misnomer. You dont actually drop down with all your weight to severely preload, you just stay planted a bit and let it rebound you off the lip .
1. Be in right gear, a lower gear will help get some extra pop off the jump face. 2. Be in the right position. You want your body weight either neutral or a little further back on the seat. 3. As you leave the jump face, pull pack and give a blip of the throttle to get lift and keep the bike from doing an endo. 4. Level out the bike by pulling in the clutch and tapping brake if needed. - Chase
Another tip is to follow someone that is good at it already.. my first day at the track I got asked several times if it was my first day at the track, because I was doing so well..

@@colebaranek4604 Well I watched your Cahuilla creek gopro footage, idk if you had that problem back then but you were still rippin' that bike ! :D Man these California tracks look so much fun.
@@Mxrider92i thanks. I got that bike after I had my 85 and I never moved up. I feel it taught me to use dumb full commitment in corners instead of power. Still can't go fast around the main track, suspension's too soft.😂
Kris is THE man. Always honest and thinks about ordinary weekend warriors.

Another great tutorial from RMatv. Thanks!
Thanks a lot for that helpful video guys !
Thanks for watching *hd339!* -*Vinny*
Thankyou.
When you say transfer your weight to the front as you approach face. Do you just pull yourself forward with your arms ?
It's a pull and forward lean at the same time.

Still gonna send it
I may very well send it as well
Thanks

Pretty much everything is easier said than done. That's why it takes a lot of practice. - Chase

How are you "flying" off the bike?
@@rmatvmc when i leave the jump face im loosing connection with the bike my whole body goes superman, i dont know what im doing wrong

What if everytime we jump the bike we freeze up and feel like we can’t move?
Keep practicing small jumps! You have to get comfortable in the air!
That just takes time as the other guy said.
Great tips but what if you are a heavy person. Have a nice Christmas to all 🎅🏽🎁🎄
More weight better traction, a 450 will easily jump , with bigger riders.
You wanna grip with your legs... Next part of the video, his leg is lose af hahahaha
I noticed that, too! Cracked me up!

I heard comp edge was closing down.
Brandon Parker it did😔
Brandon Parker such a bummer. I’m going to miss that place.
you forgot to mention to immediately stand up so you can land properly.
michael obrien that’s pretty much a given
RC always pulled out a seat bounce in supercross /no one since pulls them like RC

@Badass Busta Brown cause I was riding like I visited the track every weekend.. The guy I was keeping up with was a regular racer there..
1st🔥🔥
You silly? I'm still gonna send it.
just send it
Did I hear you say stay in neutral? Jk, good tips.
DON'T give it a hand full, I ride a YZ 125, I won't leave the ground off the jump if I don't.
You won't even make it to the top of the leap is you don't. Hahaha jk. But yeah, the struggle is real on a 125 :p
