I feel like this was such a missed opportunity for Beauty Bay, if they had added some grayed out colors in there it would be my dream palette, but I can’t see anyone needing 42 shades of gray. Some grayed out blues, greens, purples, and gray pinks, now that palette would have already been in my cart and bought!
I’m supposed to be on a mega low buy, but this one got me as I’m a sucker for thunderstorm colours. I bagged the 42 pan and the 16 pan for £29.20 which makes the 16 pan one a steal😊. Always love the looks you create Kerry, and this one is no different ❤
The best white mattes are from BH Cosmetics! “Mimosa” and “Lost in LA”, so pigmented and opaque, bright and vibrant, true whites with no hint of gray. OE’s Stone and Rock has a decent white too. “Did it need to be this big?” No. Not it didn’t. This is 42-shades of gray and we can just buy the ColourPop “Blowin’ Smoke”. 😊
Colourpop is not a good option for people living in the UK. Shipping is so expensive, and it takes forever. It's nice that UK people have a great quality alternative.

I've been moaning for over two years to my best mate that BB keep lettiing me down with not giving me a smokey pallete. So obviously i was overjoyed when they announced this. Got it coming in the morning.
If I lived in the UK and didn't have to pay taxes, I would have so many of Beauty Bay's palettes! their palettes are not only affordable, they are also extremely good quality! Okay yes, in the 42 shade palettes, there are some shades that are just okay (still good in comparison to other brands), and some shimmers are lackluster (but that's good to some people, because they like it more subtle), but with the price, and the certainty that it will not get ruined in the mail. Nothing really beats it!🤩 I have 10 palettes from them (x Jade, Nude 42 colours, Earthy 42 c., Midnight 42 c., Bright 42 c., Wilderness, Age of Opulence, Book of magic, x NikkiTutorials and a 8 pan called "Pastels") of them, half is bought second hand, so I didn't have to pay taxes and I got them for even cheaper than Beauty Bay is. Hoping more people will sell their palettes, because I will not be able to afford the taxes that comes from buying something outside of my country (on each package, I usually have to pay around 30-60 pounds in taxes....)🙁
I ordered it day one. Because I hope to get some more odd gray tones. I havent received mine yet. It can take up to 3 weeks to get where I live in Europe when I order from beauty Bay

I really only wanted the 16 pan, because similar to the Berries 42 pan I think there's a lot of overlap with these 42 Smoky shades once on the eye... 🤷🏾 And then I got hung up on the exclusion of the chocolate brown in the 16 pan because I'd have loved that - I often use similar shades to deepen my smoky eyes instead of always using black. It actually reminded me that I already own the Bperfect Gravity palette, which DOES have a chocolate brown & which I need to pull out & use! I might skip this, I'm not as much of a collectionist with the 42 pans anyway. Love the look you created though 😍 I'm definitely Team Smoky Eye til I die! Tfs as always lovely 🤗 (& I've got that shirt it's SO SOFT! 😊)

I ordered the duo. I don't normally get the big ones but this was calling my name 😂 Unfortunately my Evri driver wasnt my normal one too and didn't ring my bell so I don't have them 😢 my ring camera showed he was in my garden for less than a minute all in 😢 I do love the look you came up with, even though I'm jealous you have yours 😂
Your palette close ups are so, so good!!! They look so smooth, it’s just fantastic! That’s very impressive and shows that you’re really talented and experienced with using your camera! Do you use a gimbal? Edit: thanks for reminding me to drink my coffee ☕️
@@kerry_k a gimbal is something you can put your camera in so the footage is less shaky if your filming by holding your camera in your hands. But you definitely don’t need that! Your footage is absolutely shake free which is very impressive!!!
I'm interested to see the 16 pan shimmers. All their neutral palettes are very mixed bag w lots of mediocre shimmers so they disappointed me. I love the extra shiny shimmers from their limited edition palettes.
I looked at that pallet horrified at how big it was. But you made it look good. I would say a medium to small version of this would be what I would want if I was to get it.

I think i have enough greys right now that i can pass on this one. If this palette came out 4 years ago when the only grey palettes were smoke show (old name) and J⭐ cremated palette, i would have jumped on this in a New York second
