Sorry to those that are listening with earphones or buds as I’ve just been told that there’s only sound on the left 🤷🏻‍♂️, have no idea why that is. The second half of the video is ok. So it’s all mic related. I used a Rode video mic wireless go 2, if anyone knows how to solve this please let me know. 👍

I’m listening on AirPods Adrain and they are working perfect in both ears. In regards to your method of putting up your fence I was always told there’s more than one way to skin a cat and what ever works for you works for you lad. Keep up the good

There are more than one way to solve the stereo mix in your final video. This will be long, but I will suggest 3 ways. I am a professional cinematographer mostly filming and editing promotional videos and TV adverts here in Japan. That's where I am coming from. Please choose the simplest and best solution for you.
      1. The Rode Wireless Go is a dual channel receiver. That means that when using one microphone, it is only sending to either the left or right channel. There may be a setting in the receiver that will allow for a stereo mix.
      2. The Wireless Go II uses a 2.4GHz (Wi-Fi) to connect and line of sight is important. You may want to consider adding the second microphone to a gun mic on the camera to avoid drop-outs in audio. We call this redundancy. A UK news channel recently filmed Prince Charles in his garden and they used the Wireless Go II, attaching both mics to each lapel of his coat. This was for too reasons, one, if he looks to his left, the left mic will catch it and vice versa if he looks the other way. The other reason is ensure that they always have a constant signal to the receiver. The advantage of the 2.4GHz wireless mics is that they can be used internationally whereas the UHF wireless systems that we tend to prefer to use are country specific and you could get into a lot of trouble using the wrong frequency in a particular country.
      3. I don't know what NLE (editing software) you are using, but there should be a setting that on output that it creates a stereo mix when outputting the video. This is probably the simplest method if you are unable to create a stereo mix in the Wireless Go II receiver.
I hope that helps and if I find a bit more information on the Wireless GO II, I will edit this reply and add 'EDITED' to the top.

I enjoy your channel very much. I’m not a farmer. I’m disabled and don’t know a thing about fencing except what I see on youtube. They look fantastic to me. I loved how the calves were playing and loving life. I must say though, you have the cleanest trailer I’ve ever seen. I love how you take pride in what you do, pride in your animals and your farm. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for sharing your life with us. God bless you.

I have never seen fence done like that with the tubing around the posts. And we would just run a wire kitty corner when connecting two fences together and not underground. Thanks Adrain and hope you did not catch a cold with getting soaked from the rain. I would like to see a video with zoom or somehow with Laura and her family (Farming Life at La Forge) with you and yours. Just listening to Laura and her parents talk about the differences from Ireland to France and seeing how much different things are between the two countries and the differences between the USA and your countries. So very interesting and educational. Thanks again Adrain.

Great video Adrian, the joy of letting calves out and having fingers crossed they don't run thru fences. Them gripples are great job, often forgot to put on insulators. When connecting 2 strands of wire if u have a long tail out after tensioning top strand could loop it to bottom strand.

Hi there from Kilcunda Victoria Australia. Just a observation when you was hammering staples you need to hold hammer from the end not in the middle as it chocks the swing and you are not using the full weight. It just means less hits at the end of the day. Love watching your videos and how you farm compared to me. I have 350 acres and just retired from dairying this year. Going into beef farming. Keep up the great work cya

Bit of a tip if your interested🙈.......... to tension the wire slide a gripple down the end of the wire, loop the end around the egg insulator then the end through the other side of the gripple. Saves splitting the wire to join. It's not tied to the egg just looped. 👍

Another great video Adrian, can’t wait to see what u are planning for machinery house on the flat area. We need to do something as well here to try and get some of the kit in out of the weather. You 100% right on your original machinery house you need solid reinforced concrete wall to make a proper job of it. Unfortunately with the price of things now it’s not so feasible forcing you to look at an alternative option. You defo not alone in that one. Thanks for the great video, see u o the next one.👍
