About the rabbit and the moon design, it might be based on that in Japan they see a rabbit on the moon. Similar to how we, in the US, see a man on the moon. Fun fact: the moon actually spins as it travels around the Earth, so the US sees a different side of the moon then Japan, hence why we see different things on the moon. So, in reality, there isn’t an actual dark side of the moon, that’s dark for everyone on Earth.
I work at GameStop and you can actually preorder figures and T-shirt’s! I did recently and got the sailor moon crystal figures for regular sale price, plus there’s almost always some kind of promo going on. The only thing is sometimes they don’t post pictures of what the preorder is, Just the name.

I have always wanted to experience this series, but didn't know where to start. Would these new eternal Manga editions be a good place? And what Anime do you recommend I watch first? I've heard the Crystal is a true adaptation of the Manga.

I'm debating on if I should get this copy as well...i have 1-35 comics,Tokyopop sailor moon manga, and I have 2014 mangas.

Yes I store them all in a big box. I'll dig 'em out whenever hubs and I move but that won't be for a long time.
