I’ve seen some Christians in churches manipulate sisters and brothers in Christ and say to them “God told me you are going to be my husband/wife” or that they had a dream that the person was going to be their spouse, to manipulate the person into dating them when God didn’t say it or confirm it. I’ve seen people who are already in relationships be told by someone at church that the person they are dating is not suppose to be their spouse & i’ve watched pastors manipulate people into dating who they want them to date trying to hook people up who sound good on paper but are not compatible. I’ve seen pastors prophesy to people that a certain person is going to be their spouse only to have another prophet come to the same church and tell that same person that their spouse is someone else...this sends alot of confusion. I had this happen to my cousin. In her time being at church she dated 2 different guys only because the pastor prophesied that some guy is going to be her spouse only to have another prophet come prophesy that a different person is suppose to be her spouse. Because of these prophecies, She ended up dating both guys because of what they prophesied to her at church. The relationship didn’t work out with any of the 2 & she ended up leaving the church and dating a guy from the world instead. People have to be careful and test all prophecies!
