It's interesting that you say that she's giving away parts of herself with every performance. In her documentary "Once Aurora" she mentions how she does that, and she feels it's giving her career a limit. That she's going to give herself away.

You should check out the rest of this gig. This is where I started my Aurora journey. That synth sound you were wondering about was the guitarist. He makes some great sounds out of that thing. It is a Baritone guitar. You got that right. Excellent reaction.

I really appreciate how much it resonates with me when you say how the fact that she is SO committed to what she is doing, and how much this IS a piece of her and how she so easily, so wantingly wishes to show it to us is one of the big reasons why she is so mesmerizing.
    This whole concert is great......btw.....

I am really happy to make this journey with you.
I regret not discovering your channel earlier, I would have loved to see your "first time" with her. But I guess it was music videos, and they were blocked.
Aurora is the best on stage, that's where she shines (the most ^^)
Aurora is the best on stage, that's where she shines. Of course, her videos are beautiful (The Seed... Runing With The Wolfs...). The audio techniques she uses for the studio are of the most beautiful effect. (It gives an "Enya" vibe, which I think she loves).
But I prefer her raw voice. And her movements on stage, her presence... her sincerity, as you noticed in an older reaction.
I have the vague impression though that the sound balance, or audio capture, was not as good here as in other live performances. Maybe it's just me. But I couldn't hear her beautiful voice as well.
    Anyway, I loved this.

About 30 seconds after this video finishes, Aurora pulls the mesh 'wine bottle protector' off her left arm because it is causing her lots of pain, then she apologises for having a weak arm. And later in the concert she takes her shoes off and throws them away. Aurora is definitely unique and wonderful.

Great. Great. Great. I do so agree with every single word you say about this one. Her delivery is just immense. And it is a stunning song. Soooo interesting, so well built up. Something similar to this is a marvelous concert she did in Paris 2018 at La Cigale. If you can tolerate the audio, which is a little poor, you will see Aurora with dancers doing great stuff. My favorite is the video with Soft Universe and Warrior. And you will see her interacting with her fans, and the crowd singing along like crazy. Must have been a magical concert. 😊

I heard Aurora for the first time about half a year ago... I think it was "Runaway" and I was immediately blown away. The authenticity with which she lives her songs is heartbreaking. However, my request relates to what is standing on the back right of your keyboard. Yes. Not the album "Fragile" but their last album "The Quest". I think a lot of people are disappointed with the album, but once I accepted that the style of the album was very different after the opening song "The Ice Bridge", I started to like the album more and more. Nice choice for a reaction video! I adore Aurora but I missed finding this one on TH-cam. Love it!
Also, I want to say that your reaction to Matteo Mancuso's solo in Room 335 just left my shaking with emotion. Seems like there are relatively few of us still out here who are hip to what LC's Room 355 solo meant to the fusion guitar community, back in the day. Only those who remember, and truly get it, could appreciate Matteo Mancuso's reinvention with your passion. Thank you, from the heart.
I'm want to drop a couple of links here for your consideration. They will very likely be unknown to you, and I promise that you'll deeply enjoy each of them. I can say that with some confidence because I've watched quite a few of your reaction videos and in each one I've seen a deep soul who loves great music like they love life.
    Arpi Alto (Armenian contralto): th-cam.com/video/HtAi-fTCUKM/w-d-xo.html
    Maro (Portuguese singer): th-cam.com/video/7A6UmO0CeM4/w-d-xo.html
Both of these tracks feature female voice with guitar accompaniment. And both are very intimate and reflective songs. They may not work on your channel, for reactions... but perhaps you'll think otherwise. But, don't miss hearing both of them. I promise you'll be the better for it!

Very happy to know you enjoyed that Maro song! It's really special.
Here's another link for you, something way different, but a bit of a 'must see'. I assume you are well familiar with the performance of "Lingus", by Snarky Puppy, featuring the epic extended Corey Henry solo. And I also assume you are hip to Domi Degalle, the shockingly gifted French keyboard prodigy. But I wonder if you have seen this video, in which she *sight-reads* Corey Henry's solo, in a practice room, reading from an iPad.
Here is the original Snarky Puppy video, for reference:
      th-cam.com/video/L_XJ_s5IsQc/w-d-xo.html
      And here's 17-year-old Domi:
      th-cam.com/video/surpk1YUckI/w-d-xo.html
We always hear about extraordinary people who have learned to be truly amazing sight-readers, but we rarely get to hear (and see) them, up close and in action... performing at this level. This is an exhibition by someone who is connected to music on another level than we mere mortals. I suppose it may be too obscure and specific for your channel, but it would be soooooo much fun to watch your reaction to it. Enjoy! :-)
