Love the outdoor climbing and keeping in your beta reading before the flash go, would love to see more of this 🤩
Louis' direct honesty is so great. Climbing can never be about just flashing problems - how boring would that be?
But seeing top climbers struggle (just as many of us do at more lowly grades) keeps the experience real , and doesn't diminish the interest as a viewer.
Would love to see more outdoor climbs!
Remember that video of doing trad with Neil? That's what this channel needs more of. But also just more Neil.
I love watching the outdoor climbing, honestly watching Louis' good vibes and positive mindset is awesome no matter where he climbs
Great Flash attempt Louis! If you want any flexibility coaching you know who to call 😉
😂
😂😂😂
I absolutely love Louis' positive psyche, It's super contagious! Keep it up 💪
Outside of being amiable and an awesome climber Louis' has absolute great self-awareness and his ability to communicate thought processes is what I believe resonates so strongly with his viewers.
Awesome Louis! You are not leaving empty handed, you are leaving with a good reason and motivation to come back :D
Thanks for the video! That rock looks amazing to climb on, and props on the dope send! Got me thinking about Stoney Point out here in SoCal, and now I've decided I'm going this Saturday. So yeah, cheers!
Definitely want to see you go back to this and send it!
such an iconic spot! So many good lines on this boulder! I really recommend a Portland cuttings trip to anyone considering it!
I'm also trying to climb outside more, but today was rained off so I enjoyed this vicariously through you! I also live near the Southern Sandstone where the outdoor holds are smoother than indoors!
I love what you said in the end. So true.
I just got the Mantras! They're so comfortable, you weren't kidding about that! I love your outdoor climbing videos!
Great to see the outdoor bouldering with Louis' thoughts on the beta.
oh my god just when i wanted to start work! again!! well, won't complain, Louis is awesome!
More of everything ;) - great seeing the outdoor stuff though!
What a coincidence. I'm going there next week. Perfect timing
Terrific job Louis!
A+, love seeing you uncomfortable - means there's a lot of growth to be had with just mindset alone :).
Inspiring! Also, I was wondering what shoes Louis was wearing on his right foot for the V11 boulder at the start, since I didn't recognise it. Keep up the good work👍
I sent The Terminator last weekend, but I used the micro crimp on the left to pull up closer to the jug.
I've seen other people doing it, so I hope it still counts as V6 lol
It was great fun anyway, such a cool boulder.
Beautiful footy dude!
Brilliant going, like it there nice spot.
Similar in that hole never quite satisfied, do something which been trying for a while. Then get annoyed couldn’t do something else.
When the problem before couldn’t even get started previously ha good going ✊
I love Louis outside!
It looks like your footage isn't color graded.
Another perk of walking away from an outdoor problem is that it will still be there next time you go whereas indoors there's always a chance of a problem disappearing.
Love your climbing.
In the next video, can you please say
"A really rickety railroad in Rotherham"
more outdoor climbing please :D
Pretty sure that isn't the start to Ava; it's round the corner on the jug there, moving leftwards to the flake. It doesn't add much, maybe one or two moves of easy climbing so I wouldn't deny yourself the tick, but if you come back try it from the lower start! Love the positive mindset.
Ava starts on the flake whereas years around the sun and lost decade start around the corner
Dorset bouldering guidebook says 'Lower version of years round the sun' with start coming from the same point but if that's how the locals do it then fair dos! Like I said doesn't exactly add much.
In the Southeast US, the way we say this is, "Nice link up! You'll get the send for sure next go!"
Pretty sure almost everyone I've seen does Ava from the same hold
Video of the first ascent by huffy also showed the same starting hold
Much more a fan of outdoor stuff... I know the gym is so convenient though, esp when you're super busy!
banger of a video! really enjoyed this one. 11:11 video for a v11 send :)
More outdoor bouldering pleeeease 👏😂
More outdoor!
What right shoe is Louis wearing for the first climb? 2:25? I wanna know what Louis puts on when he's breaking out the big guns ;P Nice climbing mate!
looks like the old discontinued laspo pythons to me
@@benstanton7616 Ah I think you're right! The purple definitely pops more around 2:40. Thanks!
He drives a Vauxhall and climbs at Vauxwall
Is the video a little sped up or am I crazy?
Appreciating a Brit propagating the use of V grade!
Would love to see more outdoor climbing, but please work on the wind noise. It made me have to turn the video off.
The video being 11:11 long while also being about a V11 is peak attention to detail.
Climbing on plastic isn't climbing for me it's just practice, the grades are a joke compared to outdoor grades too. Great video
