WOW. The memories! I used to have like all the toy train characters when I was a kid. I wish I still had this on VHS. I never thought Id see this again.
i watch each episode with my 8th month old daughter she loves shining time station even tho it was around when i was younger. memories of the early to mid 90's
you know whats sad is that in future generations this show will be lost to time. It is sad this is one of the best shows when I was little its a awsome show I wouldn't miss a episode. I am 22 and I still like Thomas =D
as a child this was my favroite show but until recently the monty python reference at 1.06 escaped me funny how as you get older you see whats behind things
@ExplorerDS6789 The series actualy ended producing new shows in 1993, but the final special wasnt aired until 1995. Therefore 1995 was teh final year any Shinning Time Station episode was aired.
I hope that Shining Time Station 'Tis A Gift' will be on 25th Days of Christmas on ABC Family as a special in December,2010. And teh Jukebox Gangs was singing an Thanksgiving song, "Over the River and Through the Woods"!
Becky wears the same outfit in Mr Conductor’s Big Sleepwalk Dan wears the same red outfit in Mr Conductor’s Gets Left Out Kara wears the same overalls with a red shirt in All’s Fair
This is one of the best STS Episode/Specials except for schemer (I never like him don't hate me) and this is the first STS that made me cry. Come on don't act like you didn't cry to come on don't act like you didn't behonest
@42whatelse Ah, heck. Don't wish for THEM to get this special. They'll just mercilessly chop it up. ABC Family is already one of the worst culprits when it comes to making super-awkward cuts to older shows so they can cram more commercials in. Imagine what they'll do to a show that originally ran on a commercial-free network. They'll slice it to ribbons.
Mr Conductor’s Later Appears in Agree To Disagree Stacy wears the same outfit in Happy Accidents Schemer’s wears the same outfit in Oh What A Tangled Web Tucker wears the same overalls with a white shirt in Two Old Hands J B King’s wears the same outfit in Is This The End
The Mayor’s wears the same outfit in The Mayor Run For Re Election Midge Smoot wears the same outfit in Mr Conductor’s Movie Claire wears the same outfit in Grown Ups For A Day
I liked the first season best, I wish they kept the original characters and not use that corny arcade man too much or George Carlin, but Ringo Starr was too tight of schedule.

the shit they claim to be Thomas the tank engine and friends would make Reverend Audry roll around in his grave.

@darthkurland Schemer never learns, but he helps us learn not to turn out like him.
