Can't even blame him. Ryu works so much harder to get results. Tons of props to Walker for the hard work
@@PadFeiLong got nothing to do with the who they were using, he was the better player mechanically, so Phenom started faking the kid out making him whiff
@@NoxDeadlyUm, yes it does? Obviously which character you play makes a difference, otherwise we would've seen more lower tiers winning tournaments which is not what's happening. So stop with the cap.
@@Anonymous-gq7ho got faked out consistently, meaning he would’ve git faked no matter who was using, not like the disadvantages of a using a character that has to work harder to create openings, u didnt see him trying ti create an opening n get punish, u saw him trying to anticipate a pattern Phenom programmed him to expect and he never made an adjustment
@@NoxDeadly While the result had not much to do with the character, Ending W. got a bit impatient once he was down a game. Also, his wake up DP got predictable.

This was solely on Phenom adapting to endingwalkers play style and veteran experience. Endingwalker just lost all momentum towards the end
@@Deathhead198 endingwalker best character was Ed sfv he destroyed every top player won UFA 1st place and top 8 CPT without Ed his nothing same goes idom he didn't join many tournaments this year
@@ResidentNotEvil5 saying he's nothing without using Ed is so disrespectful and ridiculous. Tokido is best with Akuma, and Akuma isn't in this game yet. Does that mean Tokido is nothing since Akuma isn't in the game?
@@heidibenner1577this is a bad comparison because tokido switched off akuma and didn't stop winning games. Op is still wrong though cuz ending walker is apparently number 1 in the uk right now which is saying alot

EndingWalker plays with an Xbox controller 😯
Tbh I was an Xbox pad doubter, the old ones weren't great for fighting games and I always loved the tactile rubber Nintendo style dpads, but after sceptically trying a new Xbox pad I'm a convert. The clicky dpad is the most responsive, easiest to be accurate with dpad on the market. I'd say PS4 dpad is slightly better than PS5, but Xbox Series dpad beats them both. Wii U Pro controller is actually my favourite to use, but I'm more accurate with an Xbox pad, as is everyone else I've had try one back to back with a PS controller.
@@sEaNoYeAh Sorry but I disagree about what you said of the Xbox Series pad... it's true that the Dpad has improved but it's basically the same controller that Xbox One with its same construction defective and fragile (its buttons L/R it broken too easy) as well the Dpad position is not the best for this tipe of games... my English is some basic 🙏
@@arieljd1 the xbox series x pad sh*ts all over the PS4 and PS5 pad, you're not wrong about shoulder buttons but PS pad buttons also constantly break and have to be replaced if used intensively for fighting games. your statement about the d-pad position is subjective, all you have to do is get used to it.
Ken is what EndingWalker could look like at 40 if he starts hitting the gym now no cap 😂

So Phenom won by spamming throw every chance he got because he found that was EW's one weakness, ok.
EW beat him at neutral, aggression and strategy so Phenom resorted to just cheese it, riveting.
Ending walker takes lots of risks and sometimes it hurts him like in this scenario. I will say though that on that last CA he made a decent read… he saw the jab come out and went through with the CA. The drive rush allowed for a faster recovery though and phenom was just barely able to block.
Phenom baited the CA with the jab, so EW got read like a book
@@Kuonit’s all about knowing your frame data. A medium or heavy gets caught in that scenario. He just panicked. I always input the CA on wake up, but I watch the opponents button. If they show a throw, a medium or Fierce I put it out there. If I don’t see them press anything I don’t complete the input button.
@@Groovingonemdude the jab is there in order to bait the ca. you can “react” to a jab all you want but it doesn’t mean anything. There’s a lot of set ups involving the jab even without drive rush…
@@philipsalibo7641 correct, you just have to be able to see the button coming out before you complete the input. The drive rush jab is even worse to try and react to because it has better startup and recovery than the normal one. Ending walker fell for the trick but it’s very easy to react to if you aren’t panicking or nervous like he was. It’s simple…See a jab, don’t throw out a high risk move, a medium, heavy, or a medium overhead are typically safe but know your data on the mediums. DJ, Luke. Juri have some great ones and sometimes they can go out and return, leaving you exposed.

watching Phenom in that first game is the stuff that pisses me off in this game. He had one actual hit confirm off of a DR cancel. Every other time was him doing DR jab. It's such a stupid and boring gameplay aspect of SF6. I don't hate this game, but make no mistake, I hate DR jab. The fact you can use this strat for an entire set and win, Capcom please nerf this trash.

EW plays like how I used to play, like pure instinct, pure unorthodox because you don't really lab frame data and all that crap, just situations and spacing and strong gimmicky baits with young reactions

I agree however that he uses instinct and unorthodox tactics mixed with solid fundamentals, and it's super-fun to watch.
