My fav part of this match was Cabo shutting the fuck up when angry bird won
That’s what made this victory better, also revenge for how badly AB got washed by Mena week 1 of SFL. The screaming really felt like a disrespectful and an intention to distract team Nasr but it all backfired 😂

I love MenaRD and Caba but the constant yelling was a bit too much!
And I have a new level of respect for AngryBird. Not only did he stay calm during the entire match but he also told Punk to take it easy at the end. The professionalism was through the roof. Hats off to him!

Let's hope the organizer addresses matters pertaining to players being loud & distracting like what Caba did. It's disrespectful to your opponent. I felt bad for Caba when he suffered a terrible loss to Kakeru recently, but not anymore..lol !

He should have shut up after in the previous match he shouted so much he made Punk mad and caused his teammate to get double perfect finished into the biggest pop off of the year.
It’s most certainly Caba. Saying “eat his head!” This is how we are as Caribbean people. If you can’t take it…. You’ve already lost before the match started. Fighting games, dominos, it will be loud and we will not care. React and it only gets louder🤣🤣🤣

Bro, Caba is the only person making noises during the game. Even Punk looked annoyed at him. Caba has no manners at all.
Listen I'm 100% down for a good popoff but we all know exactly what Caba was doin'.
People shout like that because they know it rattles their opponents, and if disciplined they can just retreat to "nah man I'm just being hype for my team!"
There's a fine line when it comes to getting hype for your team and being a deliberate distraction. It's clear where Caba's intentions were for this -- he hasn't popped off this loudly/consistently in any of the other SFL matches I've seen so far. This was about getting in NASR's head, and honestly it was a bit of a bummer to see Punk fall for it so hard (though Punk's popoffs afterward were absolutely worth the headache lmao)
It's also a shame because when you pop off like that all you're doing is escalating tension between other players who aren't necessarily asking for that vibe. Again, I'm down for the energy and for good popoffs -- this was not it.
That said, it made the ending that much better. AngryBird stays my personal definition of professionalism and skill in this game. Amazing match regardless!
if they were confident in their play like angry bird is they would have no need for these low tactics.

Nah it’s beautiful. This is what competition is about. The passion is there and sometimes the passion is LOUD. Wear the headsets and raise the volume if you can’t take our Spanish banter🤣🤣🤣

thats actually the beauty of it, this kind of environment isnt possible at most invitationals or open tournaments, the passion and energy these guys are allowed to express increases the drama in and out of the game. the stories are getting deeper and the game play is reaching new heights

As much as caba was annoying, this kind of competitive atmosphere makes the games sooooo much more fun to watch. It feels like actual stakes instead of an exhibition match that doesn’t matter at all. Also, holy shit watching these two play is insanely high level.

This is the first time I’ve ever had to mute a SFL match before. They gotta do something about Cabba being so disruptive. Incredible composure by Angrybird, but god damn does Cabba need to stfu.
