dude the first time i fought him with ginzo all I did was attack with both skills and dip. i didn't know what the tengu meteorite did so I just kept whaling on him for a long time till I got caught

This boss works on how much coins you have. If you have between 200-399 he'll want still 200 but if you have +400 he'll want then 400 in return
The complicated part is that his 5th attempt he did had 400+ and he still let him pass by pay 200 🤔
U can turn off music in the in game settings btw so ur background music doesn't overlap with it

I think the bribe depends on how far you are in the game
If you get tengu as first boss he'll have higher chance to to take 200 coin offering
And if you fight him as 2nd boss the 200 gold offering has a lower chance to happen
Not really....it depends on how much you had... for instance, if you have 400 coins or over, then giving him 200 coins will trigger a chance in the game where he rages eitherway...because it’s called “earnest”...so you prove your honesty to him by choosing the one you have enough for...
I have 280 coins and I gave him 200 and idk..he just let me pass and go to the next level
You're lucky first time I met Tengu, I bribed him once with 200 coins and it worked and it has never worked since then
Well I went monkay mode on Tengu when I had imo the best set up. When on frenzy mode you can get up to 100% crit rate and I had an item that every crit = HP so I beat him but later on I died to Phase 3 Asura.
Fighting phase 3 asura becomes fun when you have bells of souls

My attempt on 200 gold was like 50% chance but 99% with 400 gold coins.

this is a good experiment keep it up. Also I have a suggestion, make an all stat max build with Rebellious or saint rebellious I want to see it. There's no post in yt yet about that. The more stat items you carry the more bigger rebellious grows. I want to see his max size. My current run has 4 items total. He grows taller than Tengu. I want to see complete stat build hehe

Because it triggers a higher chance of getting screwed if you were able to go for 400 coins but gave him 200 instead...that’s why he gets greedy anyways...

But if you give him a 400 you won't get a fight to him. . .
The third and fifth time it didn’t work on the 200 coins bribe because you had more than 400 coins! So the game basically programs this old man to most likely get angry at you if you haven’t spent the most of the money you had(which is 400 coins) as a punishment...in a sense that you have to give as much money as possible to this old man...
I thought you had to give him the highest amount you can so if you have over 400 and give him 200 he will fight

If you give 200 i think you'll pass but thats a 50% chance
But if you offer 400 then thats a 100% passed

If your above the 400 then he will be not satisfied with 200
The only time I gave him money was to see what happens, the other times I just beat the crap out of him

I finished Asura by double stacking the second ability of the fighter girl ( using the second and third style )
