- Hey guys! In this week's video I show you emersed plant setup. I plant dwarf hairgrass. The scientific names for them are Eleocharis arcicularis and Eleocharis parvula. I also plant Micranthemum Micranthemoides (Pearlweed). I've never done this before so I thought it'd be cool to attempt to do the emersed setup to have plants for future aquariums.

Hey guys! My name is Zeek! I am a TH-camr who releases weekly entertainment videos from MY HOUSE!! On this channel you'll find fish tank suff, concrete and wood building stuff for home improvement and just for fun, and you'll also be able to find book reviews becuase who doesnt like books. Make sure you don't forget to hit the like button, the subcribe button and that notification buttons.
If you can keep the temperature stable and optimal, and keep humidity relatively high, they should thrive. Your biggest challenge will be avoiding mold - I tend to use coconut coir, sand etc to avoid contamination that you might get with commercial potting soil and what not.
I ended up planting dwarf hairgrass and pearl weed. Unfortunately the pearlweed died off after like a week. The hairgrass ended up coming in nicely and I forgot to record but I ended up planting it in one of my 10g tanks. Also I will definitely try those to grow next time. Was just trying it out since I wanted it out of one of my tanks lol thanks for the advice
Zeek's House If you can keep the humidity very high it should help with transitioning from submersed as well as to submersed. It's basically like another tank minus the water haha.
Answered a bunch of questions. Would love to see any updates.
