If you use a single hole punch for your holes they are small and uniform in size...It's also easier to control placement. You can even get the punches in different sizes. Love the shirts...keep coming with the ideas!
Actually, the person I know that chipped her teeth was my Pediatrics attending in New York Presbyterian, and it happened veryvery late at night, but she HAULED her dentist into the clinic even at that time to do the repair job lollll :) will be voting daily :) i haven't stumbled across a lot of other vancouver student youtubers, i think you're the only one i'm subscribed to, and this is my way of thanking you for your helpful vids :)
I actually like the "scrunched" look~as long as it's symmetrical, it looks like you planned it that way. Also I personally wanted a higher neckline so your tutorial gave me a LOT of great info to make my own. THANK YOU!!!
sorry to hear you fell, teeth can be fixed and you are still more beautiful than most so no need to be embarrassed! On another note, I love your videos and have found yet another way to be crafty thanks to your inspiration. Keep up the good work!
You were tossing M&M's in the air and catching them in your mouth. I'm glad you didn't let this setback hold you back from posting this This looks great. Looking forward to trying it.
Dont feel bad, l have done the same thing...ur pretty broken tooth or not. Good for u for goin ahead n making the tutorial anyhoo n not bein stupid like me n thinkin everyones starin at ur tooth...when its not u, u can clearly see they're not. Good job.
I think they can do that if it's a small chip. Too much of mine broke off :( I had to get a root canal and a crown. I only did one row of holes actually! Yeah sorry the starting is not so clear :( Thread the string into the first hole all the way. Then start doing what I demonstrated with the loops.
i think they can fill in teeth these days with this whitish stuff? my mom chipped her tooth and they just molded this stuff onto it and it looks fine now. maybe you could get it fixed? or did you already? i LOVE the braid but i actually can't completely follow how you got it started and how you finished with a second row. you did two sets of holes and did the same loopy thingy? did you put the holes right next to the other holes you had made for the first row? or maybe between?? thanks so much!
I watched the video up until the point where you poked holes around the neckline, then all of a sudden the braiding is halfway done ... did I miss something? The video goes from poking the little holes to looping on an already braided front :-( . I don't know how to start the braiding at all :-(
Hahaha, well I am definitely not good at hockey so that's plausible. And yeah, I look like I could do pretty well in a fight with hockey fans, eh? Hehe. Yes!! Getting it fixed tomorrow. Thanks :D
You are an inspiring young lady. With my bulky knitting machine I will design a curved neckline for a plain top, including well spaced eyelets 3/4 inch from the edge. Next a narrow cord of the same color knitting yarn, for the top braid, while watching my hand laced loop tension, will be made. I will try 3x the neck circumference. Since I have made more than 40 self designed sweaters, it should work. Some of my designs were published by Annie's Attic in the 1980s.
Sorry about your unfortunate tooth event. I love this idea!! One thing I don't understand is this written instruction - "Instead of 2 sets of knots for 2 braids, tie THEM together with only 1 knot and hide it in the back" 'Them' who?? The beginning and end of your string? Are you saying to use just one string twice as long as your first one and go around the neck twice?? I'd love to see a tutorial of how you achieved this look...I'm a bit lost lol
@CrayolaaLover it doesn't work well with an off the shoulder top just because it looks off... However I did just do it with a shirt which I cut the collar off to make it a lower top & it worked great so it's totally doable.
Hey I tried voting for you but the page took me to facebook and then said that the page was currently unavailable. :( i will try again but I do not have a facebook so I might not be able to. Just letting you know you have my vote! I hope I can actually get it in to count, but either way I love your videos:) so fun and creative
Gonna vote after this :) My Guess: you tripped and fell? I know someone who tripped and fell on sidewalk concrete and chipped her front teeth, except she had hers repaired ASAP bc she was too embarrassed for other people to see it. You're so brave putting out a vid! :)
your video is very hard to see, needs to be clearer and also more details about starting. Your idea is great and it would be so helpful to see it more easily
I don't understand how to start the braiding part I saw you start with the loop you cut out but the other side was done already so I'm confused.....does that make sense?

I'm surprised to hear how many people have broken their tooth too! And yes! I fell on the floor!

It is a great idea, the final product looks really nice

Good luck in the competition.
Doing it on pants is such a good idea!

You were tossing M&M's in the air and catching them in your mouth. I'm glad you didn't let this setback hold you back from posting this This looks great. Looking forward to trying it.

Did you use the same holes for the second row? And how did you start off? didn't show on the video. Btw, you're so creative!
I got them fixed! All better now :)
You are adorable and have a great sense of humor. Forget the stupid comments.

We voted for you, thanks for the great videos, I cut up lots of shirts with your help
No one would dare knock me out!
Sorry lol. Yeah it's hard to try it out beforehand cause I don't want to use two shirts for each video. I'll try to make the videos more organized.
I VOTED! GL!

So for the second braid you did, did you put it on top of the first or was one above and the other was below?
Haha yes! Now the question is if I can keep up the videos :P

You don't show how to start the braiding.
I do like the idea, probably I'll try this... to enhance old shirts... thanks! =)
Salina, you did not show how you started the braid.
Oh darling you are sooo clever
Aww thanks.
Awesome thanks for the translation :D
Thank you!!

Actually, I have a chipped front tooth too, but not that much.. Are you going to get it fixed or anything?

Gonna vote after this :)
My Guess: you tripped and fell? I know someone who tripped and fell on sidewalk concrete and chipped her front teeth, except she had hers repaired ASAP bc she was too embarrassed for other people to see it. You're so brave putting out a vid! :)
