If you equip Fighting Flame Swordsman to Charles, you can end the set up and gain an additional Book of moon on top of the interruptions. This requires you to equip Fighting flame swordsman to charles and use it as cost for the negate. As an example, here's a 2.5 card combo, that would require either F. Flame Swordsman + Renaud + Monster or Oliver+Equip/Fire (sharing it here because it builds over this combo). NS Flame, search Flame Swordrealm Special Renaud/Ogier. Make Angelica, Add Museum, mill Salamandra, Add Salamangra with Chain. Target angelica with Salamdra, Special Renaud Mill Ogier. You can at this point, activate Swordrealm and use the extra monster to special Flame Swordsman. Then, make Baronne with Roland+Flame Swordsman, Equip Ogier. Activate Museum, Search for Durendal. Special Ogier, Mill Turpin. Activate Durendal, seach for Oliver. Equip Turpin, Special Oliver by sending Turpin. Equip roland to Baronne. Special Turpin. Make a second Roland with Oliver+anything, activate it's effect. Then, Make charles with the other lvl 4. Equip Charles with Oliver, and climb until Charles the great. I think on those lines, it's better to make the second roland so we get the mill and search. Making Baronne with Flame Swordsman+Roland when you got gas seems a bit more unexpected.
If you do this you need a way to remove the trap from your field, if your sending the flame swordsman to mill the fusion dragon and using the trap to book, it has to successfully equip, are you wasting your charles pop to hit your own trap so you can use the GY effect?
@AntCommando since it is a fire meta, you can equip and flip the same target. Worse case, you can waste the book of on one of your monsters (maybe angelica to mill on target, special a roland and trigger the other trap). That will get it to GY. These are the copium ways but... The most sensible way is equiping to charles and sending it as cost for the negate. The other trap will special the salamandra fusion with it's effect and then you can special ultimate with salamandra with chain gy effect This being a fire meta, you probably use both effects on the same monster, but if not, it is the order of Operations. Having the flame swordsman equipped gives you more freedom in the order, as the sword dance trap has a more specific trigger that even if it's fullfilled, you might not be able to book of their monsters (links).
@jecaballeror this implies your using 2 traps, I play this deck, and unless your ending on 2 charles or gearfried, if you want to get both effects in 1 turn off the trap, you need charles to send the fighting flame, and either another charles or gearfried to send the trap, the point is maximizing your interrupts on your opponents cards, if you don't care for the book you trap target angelica, and trigger angelica, the trap fails to equip and goes to grave and then fighting flame sends the fusion dragon, turning the trap on GY live, but unless you waist the book or charles pop on your own cards, just to get the trap in GY, your better off just disregarding the book effect entirely, or you equip the trap to angelica, mill the fusion dragon with fighting flame and use the fusion dragons quick effect on angelica to tag her out, you also cannot gain angelicas effect to tag out if you choose to resolve the trap and book her as it happens on resolution and does not target
i'am testing the deck for four days and the two card combo can end on baron with angelica ring charl the flame swordsman trap and the fusion durning the opponnent turn
I might try this stuff out in my Infernoble build. I'm still on the igknights stuff atm and I don't have the BB stuff, so it could be fun to change it up a little bit.
I agree with you, the flame swordsman engine just doesnt do enough. I've been testing battlin boxer with flame banshee, a single populus, ricarddetto, and 3 original sinful spoils (no diabellstar or wanted) and its been working pretty well
I agree in being a much bigger fan of the boxer and Rev Synch engines. Though I love that their are different styles of infernoble now post-isolde ban. Everybody is coming together with their own spice for the deck I might pick up this stuff just to mess around with it...though I dont really have an interest in the 500$ engine you probably have to play with it.
I think the main draw of the flame swordsman cards is just consistency. I agree that the battlin boxer stuff puts up a bit more but that’s only if you open up the battlin boxer stuff. There are multiple avenues into the flame swordsman normal that can make the one/two card much more consistent for an over alll very similar board if not slightly less effective
I agree having a additional searcher to get the lvl 4 does help, but you can also search out the boxer stuff with everything else durendal/chalice/museum so it’s not like how connector use to be where you had to open connector or rota. The quick play spell is actually a huge appeal to me to want to play it
The main thing making me like the swordsman package is how dynamic it is. If the battlin boxer line gets interrupted at any point there isnt any extra resources attached to the combo (except a floating dempsey at the end of the combo). Flame swordsman has a good continuous spell, mill effect and a search on normal. And also Dempsey line runs straight into Nib 😭
One for one to discard flame swordsman and special summon ricardetto. Only issue is your locked to warriors, but that's full combo for both engines without using your normal.
If you don't pitch Roland off Salamandra and instead pitch any other card, you can end on x2 Charles the Great by using Museum's effect to special summon Charles from s/t zone and equipping Roland to it.
Also I would to have your opinion on something, Iam not playing sinfull spoil engine but I looking for other alternatives. What do you think of tenyi adhara ? You can ss him and use durandal to search fighting flame swordsman to make Angelica. And if you have adhara and renaud you make Baronne with adhara and gearfried at the ens of the combo
I think you’re onto the right track if you’re not playing the spoils package, you have to have a way to lvl 1 tuner to make Angelica with the lvl 4 swordsman
You said that Ultimate Swordsman can atk twice but its eff says it can double its atk in the BP . Swordsrealm makes 1 warrior lose 1000 atk and gives every mon u have 1000 atk . The fusion dragon is the one that gives double atk to swordsman when equipped
Hey homie, You can't activate Roland's effect unfortunately since you didn't synchro summon him. Angelica special summons without treating it as a synchro summon. I found this video super helpful though and appreciate you!

Question, how did u get angelica's ring with roland's effect from deck at the end phase. roland has to be synchro summoned to activate his effect while we summon him through agelica's effect.
In the second combo why you don’t just search the two traps instead of the spells ? With Angelica you foolish ogier who will then send gearfried. Ok you don’t have the angel ring but you have two non targeting book of moon in backrow :)

Iam not saying it’s better or worse but play around different threats :)
It just requires cards that you do not want to open with. Uppercutter basically makes the same board as a 1card. You can catch somebody offguard with a Swordsman-otk, but if you get Drolled with Swordsman? Yeah, that's it buddy lol and I'm afraid Droll is going to be EVERYWHERE now

1 card 7000 damage, with museum 8000 damage. Flame swordsman isnt for comboing and putting up a bunch of interruptions. The flame swordsman engine is superior going second.
Can’t debate you there. But does the deck need something like that considering you end with 9000 damage on field minimum? I’ve only ever found myself when you use sparrer

This format being a format filled with mid range decks, that grind you out, combo doesn't have much of a grind game.

I also forget that the traps are searchable, may have tunnel vision on ending on the UFS, instead of the traps!
