In 1974 USA my alcaholic Irish Catholic obstetrician made me hold my baby in my birth canal bc he wasn't ready for delivery though he was in the delivery room all along. I did have a routine episiotomy and shave. I was only 16 and there were nurses present. The obstetrician was known to hate teenage pregnancy though I was married. He was a 2nd generation alcaholic Irish Catholic immigrant. He actually delivered me in 1957. My parents were devout Catholic. My father later denounced Catholicism. I have pelvic floor dysfunction today and I'm wondered if I have any recourse. I've actually had the PFD since that birth but it recently took a turn for the worst. I had a hysterectomy in 2003. I've lived extremely healthy conscious as a result. Things like constipation or SI ligament pulls are devastating to me.
