lyrics : Where do I go from here (nowhere) I'm at the top but I ain't going down my dear Too many brothers hold fair close to you ain't supposed to Fucking up the image, my eyes are so clear (x2) Verse 1 When you fiend for a voice or a beat for pete's sake I mean what I speak and I say when beats break Holder of the rhythm, the rhyme, crackle and pop Controller of the limit, that's why minimal stops My voice penetrates through the microphone to the tape Makes other MCs relocate Never judge a book by its cover I'm liable to blow, race covered in red, I ain't slow Every joe straight down, or every single pro Always stands my method of movement upon a smooth tip I'm never messing with no loose lips Got me white tooth pick Dirty looking hoochies with no true fit I don't get down like that much respect to the dick Cuz the truth is I don't need to trip All you groupies trying to grab on the stick You get whipped, no cream indeed They fiend, but there’s only one me Chorus: Need Not Worry Where do I go from here (nowhere) I'm at the top but I ain't going down my dear Too many brothers hold fair close to you ain't supposed to Fucking up the image, my eyes are so clear (x2) Verse 2 To all you homies you don't know how to act You get the bozack, losing a minute ain't worth jack Or a second, matter of fact I think I reckon You ain't down for the court so keep stepping I've been trooping through a wasteland battered, bruised But better step aside when the attitude moves the folks I never mean it, even as a youth keep dreaming In a deep sleep future note breathing Eruption, beautiful from pre to post production Fresh flavor to the people for consumption Step in the arena, close the doors locked Now you can't leave, escape, you get docked School is in session, open your book, eyes up here I want everyone's undivided attention Don't sleep, you MCs creep for a lesson But there's only one need no question Chorus: Need Not Worry Where do I go from here (nowhere) I'm at the top but I ain't going down my dear Too many brothers hold fair close to you ain't supposed to Fucking up the image, my eyes are so clear (x2) Verse 3 When you fiend for a drum, or group that straight moves as it soothes You listen to straight through to prove To everybody why the rhythm is rude and smooth A little jagged, voice fantastic On the microphone need got it great Growing habit of keeping it gritty and a bit elaborate Cold track into a labyrinth of rhymes Hold attacking every problem of the mind Keep inclined, cymbals, signs Intertwined ruin every element of song To the groove box, know what to do and do not Keep steady, keep the voice and the drum heavy I see you bobbing your head so thank Goon Trax When you off track, I'm here to help you get your groove back For a second at least, keep your ear to the street This ain't a Huxtable speech, there's only one need Chorus: Need Not Worry Where do I go from here (nowhere) I'm at the top but I ain't going down my dear Too many brothers hold fair close to you ain't supposed to Fucking up the image, my eyes are so clear (x2)
you know whats so amazingly ironic about need not worry is that he got so many great songs yet unlike other great rappers, he's never collaborated with another rapper in any sing (with the exception of that track he did with Reason called "Another Chapter" which is the worst song he's ever been in) ...like all his dopeass tracks are solo-rapped..though collaborated with various producers from soulchef to incise to cradle orchestra. rap-wise, hes done it alone!
you can easily... he's one of the emcees in our crew -- KicDrum Products. I produced an entire album for him back in 2005 -- Formulatin' Fathers. Also check out his myspace page. NeedNot is sick! ++ DRUMAT!C
@ieatthat4breakfast Look up Cradle's albums: Attitude Aurora Collection Magical Journey Soulbirds ft Nieve and Cook Or their album "Open Your Mind" with Aloe Blacc under the name "Bee"
@ieatthat4breakfast there's also the sheep step uploaded, original by incise and some other remix and i'll be uploading another colab of Need Not Worry and Incise this week called Hope i'll leave a msg here when it is on
@nemosphere lol maybe irony wasn't the best word...but it is a bit ironic that he's never had a song with another artist...like all his rap songs are solo, yet his music is still amazing. a lot of the other jazz-hop artists ive seen rap together or have some female singer...like nieve and jean, tunji and toby, cosmo and jaylene, etc...need not worry is always solo
@Dragnwarriorclay i agree with dragonwarrior...and I'm the biggest need not worry fan. as a lyricist, he's as close to perfect as there is but this is one of his WORST songs and surprisingly is one of his most viewed-tracks. this track lyrically im confused as to what it's even talking about but the instrumental by cradle makes it sound nicer than it really is.
Im glad for the underground scene where artist can be true and let their spirit run wild :)
I was watchin bob alloys and watchin emancipators vids and ended up to another great artist cradle orchestra... its really an awesome song too!!!
lyrics :
Where do I go from here (nowhere)
I'm at the top but I ain't going down my dear
Too many brothers hold fair close to you ain't supposed to
Fucking up the image, my eyes are so clear
(x2)
Verse 1
When you fiend for a voice or a beat for pete's sake
I mean what I speak and I say when beats break
Holder of the rhythm, the rhyme, crackle and pop
Controller of the limit, that's why minimal stops
My voice penetrates through the microphone to the tape
Makes other MCs relocate
Never judge a book by its cover
I'm liable to blow, race covered in red, I ain't slow
Every joe straight down, or every single pro
Always stands my method of movement upon a smooth tip
I'm never messing with no loose lips
Got me white tooth pick
Dirty looking hoochies with no true fit
I don't get down like that much respect to the dick
Cuz the truth is I don't need to trip
All you groupies trying to grab on the stick
You get whipped, no cream indeed
They fiend, but there’s only one me
Chorus: Need Not Worry
Where do I go from here (nowhere)
I'm at the top but I ain't going down my dear
Too many brothers hold fair close to you ain't supposed to
Fucking up the image, my eyes are so clear
(x2)
Verse 2
To all you homies you don't know how to act
You get the bozack, losing a minute ain't worth jack
Or a second, matter of fact I think I reckon
You ain't down for the court so keep stepping
I've been trooping through a wasteland battered, bruised
But better step aside when the attitude moves the folks
I never mean it, even as a youth keep dreaming
In a deep sleep future note breathing
Eruption, beautiful from pre to post production
Fresh flavor to the people for consumption
Step in the arena, close the doors locked
Now you can't leave, escape, you get docked
School is in session, open your book, eyes up here
I want everyone's undivided attention
Don't sleep, you MCs creep for a lesson
But there's only one need no question
Chorus: Need Not Worry
Where do I go from here (nowhere)
I'm at the top but I ain't going down my dear
Too many brothers hold fair close to you ain't supposed to
Fucking up the image, my eyes are so clear
(x2)
Verse 3
When you fiend for a drum, or group that straight moves as it soothes
You listen to straight through to prove
To everybody why the rhythm is rude and smooth
A little jagged, voice fantastic
On the microphone need got it great
Growing habit of keeping it gritty and a bit elaborate
Cold track into a labyrinth of rhymes
Hold attacking every problem of the mind
Keep inclined, cymbals, signs
Intertwined ruin every element of song
To the groove box, know what to do and do not
Keep steady, keep the voice and the drum heavy
I see you bobbing your head so thank Goon Trax
When you off track, I'm here to help you get your groove back
For a second at least, keep your ear to the street
This ain't a Huxtable speech, there's only one need
Chorus: Need Not Worry
Where do I go from here (nowhere)
I'm at the top but I ain't going down my dear
Too many brothers hold fair close to you ain't supposed to
Fucking up the image, my eyes are so clear
(x2)

Is there an instrumental version to this song?
I need lyrics..
@dragnwarriorclay @spacedifference no, the purpose of it is to enjoy listening to it so neither of you missed the purpose.
@Dragnwarriorclay
you've missed the idea of the composition then
@ieatthat4breakfast
u need a new account man!
iono... the original seemed more... normal.
to me, it seems different.
:)
@SpaceDifference No I haven't. The vocals are bland, ordinary and lack harmonics/range. The orchestration is wonderful at any rate.
이게 어떻게 별로일수있지; 노래는 취존이라지만 전주만들어도 찍싸는걸 별로라니 이해가안가네
Vocals dont work.. The instrumental would be better.
Eh, Vocals ruined it in my opinion.
별로;
