Hi! I wanna do architecture but I have heard how time consuming it is, how is the work life balance? Do you have time to go out often or have a part time job? Great vlog btw
hello! i did not work during the semesters, only during my summers! and i won't lie, the school/life balance can be tough but it depends on how you schedule things out/how hard you want to try in studio! it wasn't my cup of tea, the older i got, but if you stay passionate about it, it doesn't feel like a chore!
With her fingers?? Was that hard to figure out. Everyone has their preference, no need to laugh about it. I bet you do stuff that other people find ridiculous.
I noticed that you're using a macbook pro, is it okay so far? I've seen articles and videos that says that the macbook pro is bad for architecture and i'm really contemplating whether i should buy one or not.
Barnaby Bex towards your later years in architecture, you can see that lots of the programs such as AutoCAD and Revit come in windows versions and lots of firms have windows throughout their offices, but there are still Mac versions for a majority of these programs! it may work slower but it is not impossible.
Triple Baka being thrown into first year architecture with no background is definitely a learning curve. but everyone has to go through it. & in when it comes to all nighters, it really depends on how you work on your projects, you can choose to work on them right away or push them to the last minute!! it also depends on how much time you want to spend them if you want the quality to be really good.
i'm having such a blast!! it's hard in the aspect of time and the depth of the topics you get into, but it's gotten to the point where i'm learning how to balance seeing my friends during breaks and making sure my work is the best i could make it!
