the white / pink blossom is a Magnolia grandifolia not sure of the species name the yellow tree in bud is commonly called a Golden rain tree not a native of England so I am not sure of the proper genus name glad you enjoyed the visit ........ take a visit in the spring May is the best month for tree colours all the best paul

I had to build an English set of gardens on 6 acres in Latvia EU as land and house in England is over priced by 50% Then planning consent to build a large gardens is almost impossible today. I tried on two acres but needed the field in front and no one would sell it. Here in rural forest and lake Europe no one gives it a thought and one just gets on with building an arts and craft set of rooms laid out to my plan and design and almost completed after 6 years of hard work .Another 6 will see it finished
