Nice thorough videos. You're taking the time to explain things other guys tend to skip or edit out. I like yours and the man of steel's videos the best. I would watch the British dude but I can't take him calling a fender a "wing" and a hood a "bonnet"....
With a lot of patience and the right tools you can do it. I want to get into the PDR trade as a lifetime Auto bodyman this is right up my alley, cleaner work more efficient and more money without having the sand Bondo down and prime and block primer and every other God forsaken things . But however the cost of PDR tools is very expensive and it's not cheap to get into. But being a cheapskate like me I'm going to start by buying knockdown tools and making my own paddle. I can't see spending a hundred bucks on a piece of wood with a little piece of leather on it . The price of $200 for an aluminum slide hammer is crazy money .Pro blending hammer another 2 hundred bucks .Crazy money . I have no doubt my mind that the average PDR technicians got 20 grand at least in equipment ,not counting all the newest stuff coming out. I did see a prime rod with a magnetic ball on the end which one you place a steel ball on the outside of the panel helps you pinpoint your pushes, however they're probably not practical to a real PDR tech but they look cool with me.
For this type of dent where you really care about orange peel. I found good FOG pdr lamp much much better than these stripes... but every tech is different
So insane. Mikey the magician. Great job!
sharp tip = precise. I love. thanks Mike.
Fantastic learning video. 👏

Great video, shows how a dent that a customer may view as being small and should come right out takes skill and precise pushing.

As always. It’s not which reflection is superior but how well you understand your reflection. Thanks for commenting.
