She has misguided anger, the target of her anger needs to be at her son, her ex husband and herself, she also needs to be tried in criminal court

Pathetic at his age mom is still guiding him like a child. Talk about enabling Paul and just plan out pretending he isn't disturbed.

What a despicable family. The callousness and cavalierness for which they talk about Kristin is sickening. So happy he was convicted. I hope Susan Flores loses every cent she has via a wrongful death lawsuit.

People who oppose abortion are opposing the murder of human life. The same thing Paul is accused of. What you’re actually advocating for is better parenting.

@@lilmisfityou putting the rape and murder of a deeply loved 19 year old Cal Poly student on the same plane with the abortion of unwanted pregnancies is callous, and is beyond obtuse.
Additionally, in terms of aborting unwanted pregnancies, perhaps you should notice the hordes of broken people we see in the prison system, we see addicted to drugs and alcohol, and we see living on the streets. Let’s face it, most anti-abortion idealists like you are not even willing to participate in the foster care system, let alone to help rehabilitate all of the broken adults we see in society. There are so many kids who desperately need stability and love, particularly the kids who have genetic predispositions to mental health problems, those whose development was negatively affected in utero, and those whose post natal development was damaged by neglect and abuse. Where are all the anti-abortion activists when it comes to dealing with life in the real world?

His tone with his mother is creepy and super short. She rambles on like she honestly doesn’t know what he exactly did. She’s sounds afraid of him and her rambling is full of anxiety and mindlessness and she sounds insane. Laughing about unfunny things.

MrRickle... It's not unusual for children to adopt "quick burst" speech patterns with a parent who rambles on, leaving little room for the child to speak. So the child learns to rush in with short sentences because it's the only way the mum will hear them before she goes off on another tangent. I'm not defending Flores' or implying he's a victim, not in the slightest. But I don't think he's being as mean to his mum as you maybe do.

Only if the family would be okay with that. Ideally, he'd have much more, not less. But if he were to get less, in exchange for the location of the body, I think it shouldn't be by much, and that decision should ultimately be left exclusively to her family.

It's even too much effort to refer to Kristin as anything but the abbreviated "K.S." I didn't even get the impression that it was something a little deeper like distancing themselves emotionally from the case.. it truly sounded like saying Kristen's full name was simply too much effort.

@@MindyBeee Yes , I know about “this” case. My statement was made for situations beyond this case. If your son murdered someone, even though you would not “support” him the state still will. They will provide him with the ability to defend himself in a court of law, judged by his peers. Innocent UNTIL proven guilty! I would give my child the best of my abilities to defend himself in that situation. Have a nice day.
