I think you are being idealistically and painfully naive bro, if you are not just trolling. The cops were not tasked to “combat dishonesty”, you are thinking of kindergarten teachers and youth pastors, they are trying solve a murder! How do you expect crimes to be solved without detectives using deception, particularly in a rape and murder like this when the only witness was the guy they were interviewing? Before you criticize the officers, know that only 2.5 years later, Larry Hobson used similar techniques to elicit a confession from the profoundly dangerous serial rapist and murderer Rex Krebs. Krebs raped and murdered two Cal Poly students in 1998 and 1999. Hobson saved lives getting that confession, and it’s a damn shame he couldn’t get Flores to confess here, as it’s a fact that Flores continued drugging and raping women in the decades that followed this manipulation that offended you.
They’re trying to catch a rapist murderer and failing due to low IQ’s. If only they knew how to manipulate they could have handcuffed him by the end of the interview.

That was 27 years ago. They’re gone. One of them showed up for the trial looking 137 years not knowing what planet he was on
32:45 he’s so cool and calm. Psychopath.
18:38 Liars know when they’re being lied to. They’re masters at it.
Taco Bell is open all night long.
I cant believe how incompetent these detectives are. Could they spell it out anymore like they are talking to a 4 year old? His story makes no sense, won't agree to a polygraph.....smh
To be fair, polygraphs can’t even be used in court due to how inaccurate they are. No one should ever agree to take one.
Polygraphs are useless. More known of that these days.
@@jamisonreynolds9949 they arent inaccurate ...they just don't have scientific backing.
@@popeye5274 definitely not useless and cops use them all the time lol. Just can't be used as why you are charging
@@jasl9987 So…they’re inaccurate. If it’s not scientifically backed, and therefore inadmissible without the consent of both involved parties, then it’s not an accurate or reliable test
This interogation proves the reid technique is bologne. Paul did not display any suspicious behavior during this interview. Didnt figet, didnt change his story, made facial expressions that suggested he was confused, he even sighed when the detective was accusing him of lying. If someone is accusing you of lying and they keep accusing you, youll eventually get annoyed and sigh because you know your not lying. Paul was a genius in this interview because he totally outsmarted these detectives. He literally answered every question how an innocent person would
no he did not lmfaooo he's so clearly guilty in this interview.
Well his arms are crossed the whole time meaning he's trying to comfort himself.
He's also got some kind of mental disorder. His brain is not working the way society says it should.
He is also a psychopath so he doesn't have the same reactions, or shame...
ugh his supporters are strong. No….He failed this interview miserably. But luckily for him, the cops failed in their investigation even worse.
These cops talked toooo damn much! Screwed the POOCH!
He's guilty but I don't like that these cops are manipulating.
They're feeding him with information & trying to get him to agree to their scenarios.
That's dishonest which is what they're trying to combat - Dishonesty!
Hobson saved lives getting that confession, and it’s a damn shame he couldn’t get Flores to confess here, as it’s a fact that Flores continued drugging and raping women in the decades that followed this manipulation that offended you.
lol you’re a dummy just like these cops
They’re trying to catch a rapist murderer and failing due to low IQ’s. If only they knew how to manipulate they could have handcuffed him by the end of the interview.
He's a great lier
Annoying police.
Why do they keep calling him Bob and Kristin Roxy?
They were a duet. Performed Friday nights at all the clubs before they fell out.
Kristin referred to herself as Roxy. Listen to your own backyard podcast. I'm not sure what the other guy is referring to^
Despite being really dumb, He's good at lying
If the police ever ask you “what do you think happened” that’s a sign they think you’re guilty… and don’t EVER state what do you think happened. They use that shit against you he keeps saying I don’t know something bad happened and they’re trying to convince him to tell on himself. Not supporting this guy but they’re clearly trying to get him to “guess” when he says I don’t know
I know Paul is guilty, but in IMHO, he didn't really incriminate himself here despite it looking really bad for him.
they call it a interview, it was a interrogation. lets call it what it is. I am not whether he was innocent or not at the time of the police interrogation. Detectives will stretch the truth, to get a confession. that is putting it nicely. So, with all there knowledge, experience, and deceptive tactics, they could not get a confession or catching him slipping up in his story. it turns out i guess he was guilty. cops are just as bad as a potential suspect.
He's very believable
Hmmmmm definitely had the body in his car forsure !
I'm from ireland and came across this case only today.....he is 💯 guilty its written all over his face....also since her remains hasn't been found I'd like to see if anyone's with me on this 🤔 I'd be searching the taco bell he mentions and also (not sure if I type this right laura lanes bowl ) but he definitely did it
Also his arms are folded real defensively thats a tell tale sign he is trying to comfort himself
Thank God, you’re not a detective because he’s actually innocent
@RedLeo-pf9yo how do u know ffs haha r u a psychic haha
I am now convinced he's innocent
Wow, but you do know he continued his predatory behavior throughout his life, refused to state anything except his name, DOB, SS#.
Also, he recorded his date rapes and the evidence was found during this case.
Just like OJ, right?
@@KidFreshie I mean if that's your opinion fine but I'm watching this video & watching the police manipulate this kid in 4k figuratively of course
@@JUGGERNAUT____ Police are literally allowed to lie to you. Besides, nothing this creep said during this interview was the basis of his conviction. They found literal blood and freshly-dug dirt in his backyard and had cadaver dogs alerting all over the place and in his dorm room.
Well, you’ve been fooled then. All the evidence points to him being guilty beyond a reasonable doubt
Someone took care of him for her.
God forgive me but knowing what he did I’d hope they’d give him the death penalty. I pray he repents one day. Sadly it’s possible he’ll be free to offend again one day.
