20 years ago i was a gc templar, you did a well job leveling your character, best of all was the use of halo that i didn't use on my build. i farmed a lot on the zombie orcs until lvl 6x and then i farmed in different places of glast heim , mostly at the raydrics because of the high demand for their card (arround 7kk each), 1 by 1 at the beginning, i farmed raydrics until level 99, that was when we did not even have transcendent classes most probably i have dropped arround 5~10 raydric cards with 0.01% rating, i bought my entire +7/8 gear farming there, things were too hard back then but the gc templar was very auto-sufficient and fun to play solo.
Make use of magnum break and endure, endure lvl 10 +10 Mdef, can take away some damage from GC. Magnum break, depends on the monster situation, magnum break and grand cross combo can stack damage especially to undead (Magnum break 20% fire for 10 sec plus grand cross holy damage). I dont go for peco ride, I go for the auto guard, auto guard with crusader quest skill shrink can do wonders to stun monsters while doing GC or before doing GC.(after transcend to paladin or royal guard definitely need peco ride) Great video as always 👍
This is what actually many ro players forget. Magnum break is an awesome skill, I've seen ppl using it even at 4th classes to boost the damage due to its +20% fire dmg using marine sphere c or whatever
You are right but you are assuming there is a need for the 20% extra damage. It is obvious from the video that GC alone takes down the mobs. No need to waste SP.
AutoGuard and Shrink is good, but one big let down is that when Auto Guard "ticks" you are not doing damage, meaning, sometimes your GC will not miss a hit. big big big problem for strong mobs that needs to get all 3 hits to die
this brings so good memories, playing crusader with gc was so frustrating and at the same time so cool and satisfying playing, but I wasn't this good, trying way too hard to get the haedongun [2] with 2 zipper bears etc

GC is hybrid damage and can aply leech of Rideword , in the same way have positive effects if in survivor instinct and provoke enemyes ... this hat is insane to sp and HP sustain ... for extreme sustain , use Solar SWORD (is best the rental cause the extra atk) for mor DPS (but with sustain) Elemental sword with 3 hunterfly (if you are spensive , TWIN BLADES) Crux Magnum Have the part of damage gaining extra damage for endows (even the final damage is holy , its a sub division of damage , this gain bonus elemental , if you use aspersio against dark/undeads will gain more damage) and magnum break bonus increase grand cross damage too ... and gain bonus too if with weapon without size penalty (need a weapon perfect buf , or use a spear/mace ... the best weapon for damage is mjolnir (cause bonus str 250 atk , high speed cast and 100% dmg against medium and large) , but the balanced weapon is twin blade fire with 3 hunterfly , and you dont need become endowing cause the fire prop ^^ Try a new video with this informations and best set of cards to use is Archdam combo to reduce so much damage of GC ... if dont have ... when become transclass , Proxy Skin helps to reduce recoil damage , and Water armors (or sword fish card) help too

loved my gc paladin. with Mjolnir lol was amazing fast in killing in chivalry castle. the GC can actually hit up to 4 or was it 5? times if the enemy movement is timed correctly when approaching you. with a single lex aetherna I was killing AK in 1 gc
Can you explain why Lance over a 1 handed weapon with Thara shield? I know Thara doesn't reduce the 20% hp price of GC but it does reduce the 3 damage instances, plus lots of mobs you're hunting are demi human
I've seen that with other skills too, sometimes it seems like the area attack distributes the damage between de total of monsters you have surrounding you and not all of the them get killed
@chromaticmoon4466 Angeling card will only negate the holy damage done to the caster. But do not forget that every GC cast, you will lose 20% of your current HP -- this cannot be reduced. You can think of it like 1 GC will cost you SP + HP
Man I just want to play RO but i was never a social guy so always played alone, any server with not many people so I can just hunt bosses on my own? Of course I would need to multi account....low rate but that isn't that low. renewal pre, I don't know, haven't played since 2015
Hey! It is the weapon from NPC which does more damage, and that extra damage is necessary for killing Wanderers, but after you get enough Zeny from them you can upgrade for a one-handed Weapon with cards n.n
Grand Cross, my favorite character Bathory card is a must, guess you forgot to add it? but you did hunt them... hmmmm? you went for "damage" GC, i prefer more vit 20-25 str but to each its own i guess xd
@@user-cp1vx6ny3e no, its "shadow 1" it only takes 100%-125% damage from holy spells, so GC doesnt do extra damage and you negate a lot of undead and shadow spells its a win win for all cases and yes as @Nrj_ia said, angeling is way better, but cmon... one is easy to get and the other? naaaaaaaaaaaah Armor Bathory Card: Endows the armor with the Level 1 Shadow property. elemental damage may have changed tho, havent played in... 10 years? xD
Hey ! Lance is the best NPC weapon for maximizing damage for GC Fly Wing. But 2 slot Haedd with Ziper Bear Cards or Andre Cards is better end-game option of course n.n

Doesn't bathory make you take extra holy damage? I think Angeling armor makes you immune to the holy damage, and thara frog can reduce by 30%
