For everyone wondering how he made the page so that it was super wide: you can create a custom size piece when you hit create new project. this one is 3020x360 px.
I FIGURED IT OUT! Create a custom size design. Enter 3380 x 380 px. This will give you the very long page where you will now have access to the 10 section frame. 😏💃🏾
this is good, but you missed some key things that make the design... like for starters, what is the design size set to? You have ten images, so I was thinking 1080 x 10, 10800... but the design wont go that big.. so im stuck with 7 images, since thats what the design size permits at largest.. Then, on the part where you add the lines 1-3, how do I build my measurement lines to maintain it all even? You have great content, but its hard to follow along a bit with some of these basic things.. im newer to canva, please educate us little better! :)
I feel the start of this video is incomplete. You didn't show WHICh grid exactly to use. I do not have that in my Canva. Plus, how you set up your pages to look like the way you have on your screen in the video.
That is awesome as ever Roger. So good you spelled it out. I wondered as you were going, if you'd just animate those 3 lines - going left and right with our new animations...but was interesting to see how you did it with match and move in video transitions....which I just LOVE. (Still rolling out the beta to folk, as you say,...) Well done Roger. You da man! x
How do you get it to look like it's scrolling when it loops to the start? I followed each step and it looks AMAZING, but when it starts from the start, it doesn't have that seamless scroll look.
Hi, I would like to scroll just one images, I am trying to use "drift" or "tectonic", however my image is very horizontal and the animations are cutting off the image. Is there a way to fit this?
Do you know if you can create something on canva where eg post it notes fall on to the page? I want to do this to show I have lots of testimonials. Thanks
thanks..a great idea...I clicked on your link to the free carousel template but there was no free template when i arrived at your site....what happened to it? Norm
@@iamrogercoles the scrolling carousel at the footer when opened in canva doesn't look like the carousel in your video that i just watched..I thought I could just place my photos in your placeholders...or am i not on the right track?
Hey Roger, just came across this great vid Thanks for the effort. Instagram does my head in, so I have a question or 2. Will this carousel work on Instagram and if so do the dimensions need to change. Sorry I suppose I should know that but I'm not into IG at the moment........Great Vid.
Hi Michela! You'll want to go to Elements > Grid. They are in numerical order so you may need to count as you scroll down (i.e. you'll see a set of grids with 4, then 5, etc.)
As you use more apps Canva just adds them to the object panel. You can find most of the items in my sidebar by searching the "Apps" tab. You can also remove them from the sidebar by x'ing out of them. Hope that helps!
hi all, any standalone software for doing similar to this, I have a real aversion to online solutions that cant work at my zero signal cabin in the woods
I don't like that you didn't say how you got to that screen where you started creating your carousel. I do not know anything about the Canva software and I have no idea how to get to that screen to start copying you.
You said you ensured all the pictures were 306px wide, did you first resize them all? And if yes, how? Please, give full details on the size of the images used. I'm quite confused and I really want to do this.🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾

Impressive! The first TH-camr I've come across that takes Canva videos to the next level that are worth learning. TY :)

yeah this is a bad tutorial. I hope someone makes another one like this where people actually can learn something. Useless.
Can you please explain to me where you started in Canva? You said create a new design but which type of design? Sorry I'm like super beginner.
I came to the internet looking for just this solution, and you nailed a perfect tutorial. Going to use this method in my next TH-cam video. Thank you!
awesome thanks,
is there a way yo do a scrolling text on Canva like on the digital signage or the banner on the news?
Thanks so much! Very useful how did you get the 3 lines in the animated social media? I seem to only get a whole page ...

Hello once we choose new design and select animated social media graphic how do we get the three rows I have one square.
Thanks, Roger! This was helpful
Thanks Roger for the tips.
As Chick-fil-a would say, "It's my pleasure"!
I have Canva pro and I don’t have any 1 row grid options. Is there a missing step to the beginnings part of the tutorial?
Perfect! Thank you!
Do you need to be on the paid subscription in order to do this? Thanks for a helpful video 🙌
Its really cool Roger. Thanks for sharing
thank you for this I have been trying to do this for an hour
That’s awesome.
Will def be trying it out. Thank you 😊
Yes! Hope it helped :)
this is great! looks vertical, does this work for the TH-cam long form video specifications?
Great video! Thank you so much
Happy to share :)
Thanks for this well explained tutorial! 🥳
You're welcome!
Great tutorial! Can I put a photo carousel on my website?
Can i just buy your template?
I would also be interested to know if that video is based on the free version or the pro version?

Heyooo! Yep, this will work on Instagram! You could always resize to 1080x1350 if you'd rather have it in portrait mode though!

How do you get your screen to look like that?
how we can make " scroll text from down to up" video in canva?
how did u adjust the above margin?
praise God
and how do you do it with a row? Not with 3 row?
the images are then always too small / pixelated. At 1 Row
@@bizywoman4530 If I were only doing one row I think I would just make that one row larger and apply the same technique.

Right its super annoying koz no grid has the layout he had
What’s the of the page ? 3600 x 350 ?
For this one I went with 3420x306. It would have been 3060 wide but I wanted to factor in about 40px padding between each image.
Eu não entendi foi nada 😢
