    I fully admit I stopped listening 40 SECONDS into your video.
    In my mind I understand that being hired is not the same as being:
    1) fired
    2) looked over
    3) otherwise diminished....
    To cut this extremely short - my husband and I drove semi truck coast to coast. We retired as two million mile accident free drivers EACH. When it was announced a raise was coming we, the 1, 2, 3, 4 and the one 5 million mile accident free drivers were not included.
    One cannot talk about being hired for the right reasons until you address why there are openings. We asked for a load into the closest to our home, rented a car, cleaned out our truck, handed in the keys and drove home.
    We were hazmat endorsed, and had a top security clearance which required armed unmarked cars to travel in our
    vacinity. It hurt too badly to be not included in the raise.
    Where is all this going? Companies do not want experience. They want ignorance. Ignorance who will not ask for a raise. Ignorance so know nothing about Unions.
    Yes, I'm a born and raised Detroiter who worked for a non-Unionized company. We had nobody to go to who would speak for us.
