If I have any advice and mistakes I made. Focus on 1 SONG at a time. It’s tough because everyday you’re inspired to create more but that makes you have to do too much. Just do 1 song every month or two months. Focus on mix/mastering it. Uploading it . Shooting a video for it and marketing

it’s not too far off that but I’d only add if it makes sense , has a purpose ( and if i missed the purpose ) I wouldn’t drop it cuz how I think about it id want my songs to be relatable to the point you can see yourself doing whatever the song is about.
My biggest issue is being a perfectionist and taking too much time to drop. Other than that, it’s pretty cool being solo now in my life given that finances are good and I’m more mature and grounded.
@@ZetaKeepTrickin my SAME exact problem. Too many options which is actually a bad thing. Then you start liking the new song more than the one you started yesterday and the cycle repeats. Nah people in the studio while im working is a big no no, unless youre a freestyle mumble rapper like lil yachty lil baby all them guys like having people around because their music is low effort but anyone who puts their all into music likes a quiet studio to hear themselves think.
so you think kendrick and j cole or hov are the only ones in the studio? nah doesn't matter the type of artist people have people in the studio. kinda crazy how you'd say that but you can't make your way of thinking better than someone else's that has more to show for how they create.
so just because you’re talented at something doesn’t mean you should work and learn how to build your fanbase ? stop being entitled, just because you’re good at shooting a basketball you don’t belong in the nba y’all tryna make in the music business without trying to be good at the business part
@@SKYJORDXN or y’all made the business the most important part when it’s not…most artist can’t even construct a good ear worm yet you want folks to have massive fan-bases with content and branding to the moon..
@Wandontrap if you’re wanting to make money then it’s gonna be about the business. Nobody forced you to make music that was a choice you made and you can make music as a hobby doesn’t have to be a career.

when it comes to marketing it’s more about learning your target demographic and getting down to specific areas and their other interests cuz most of the time artists just go too broad vs focusing on a specific niche/person. I’d recommend buying marketing books and understanding what makes people engage and then watch more marketing content/business brand building content and that’ll give you a better understanding but it’s something you gotta develop over time
